My week in pics

Hello my dear readers! How is everybody? I hope you’re having a nice week.

The weather here is getting cooler, as the temperature has fallen a lot in just one day. Still haven’t packed my summer clothes, nor did I put my winter ones in my closet, but I think I’ll have to.

This week I have something different for you, it’s a new idea for my blog that I want to keep as a weekly “column” but I’m not sure if it would be possible. We’ll see how it goes. I’m waiting for your opinions.

So, these are some of the things I did during the week.

I did my nails! This is a photo of the black and white manicure I did last week step by step. White nails with black ring finger nails.

Bought some new nail colors for winter: Gold and glitter onyx. Both by GT Cosmetics, No. 340 (Gold) and No. 352 (Glitter onyx one)

Painted them on my nails to show you how they look. Just before I did my B&W manicure.

My everyday fuel for cold days: Filter coffee.

I need my coffee in the evening, a few hours after my lunch. I don’t usually drink coffee in the morning. Sometimes I don’t even eat breakfast.

Baked some vanilla cupcakes, and added some frosting on them. I must confess, that it’s Betty Crocker’s vanilla frosting, cause mine didn’t look as good as I wanted it to. I just added cocoa powder to the vanilla frosting for the brown ones, and red fruit marmalade for the pink ones. And they tasted heavenly! 😉

      • Thanks!! I forgot to ask you, what’s the number of the polish, because I know GT name them with numbers, and it’s always hard to recognise them at Hondos.

        • You’re welcome! You’re right, they do name them with numbers. And reading your comment reminded me to put the numbers on the post, cause I forgot to do it. It’s number 352 for the “glitter onyx”… 🙂

  4. Oof, I think it’s the fourth time I came here to see if you posted about your week, cause I read your comment on My-Fashion-Diary and you said you would write about it! So glad you did!
    After I read what My-Fashion-Diary did, I also thought of writing what I did for the weekend, and I wrote, but not so nicely like you did! I also think it’s a good idea to write about the week or weekend on Monday, and let’s see if I can do so, so I fully support your idea as well!!! Please write about your week/weekend, I’m interested!
    I loved the nails as usual (great colors!!!), and like you, I sometimes don’t have breakfast, like today. Feeling sad…
    I simply loooooved the cupcakes, I want one (or 3!!!) right now! I’m hungry… need to eat something. It’s 1 pm, I will have chocolate cookies… 🙂 They will make me feel happier, for sure!

    • Aww my sweety, I’m so sorry that you came so many times for this post. I know I wrote it on MFD’s blog, but I keep updating my blog every 3 days, so I can prepare my next posts, without stress. Sometimes, every 2 days though. Depending on the post.
      Thank you for supporting my idea, I’ll try to do it every week, but as I don’t do many things during my week, it would be difficult sometimes. We’ll see about it.
      I bought those nail polishes when I went to the stores to buy yours. I really hope you get them soon. Wish I could send you some of my cupcakes. I made around 40 so I have many left.
      Don’t apologise for your mood. It’s completely understandable. I hope you feel better soon. Please eat something, maybe those chocolate cookies that make you feel happier 🙂 I’ll come by your blog asap. But I have my first Spanish lesson of this season in a while.

    • Most of them. The cupcake ones were taken with a smaller one. It’s really heavy to keep it with only one hand. I got so tired by just shooting my nails. hehe

    • Yes, I know nookie. It’s a greek brand and unfortunately I don’t think that you can find it elsewhere. But I’m sure you can find gold nail polishes in many brands. Especially this season, when everything out there consists of metallic colors and glitter. hehe

    • Hello ave! Yes I did. All of the pictures except for the ones with the cupcakes were taken with my new camera. It’s really easy to use. You can either use it on automatic mode, or manually after you learn a few things. I read about some cameras before I bought it and this model was highly recommended.

  30. Aww I like this kind of posts, please try to make more of them (but don’t feel pressurised now 😉 hihi). Your cupcakes look so delicoius, for some seconds, I thought I could smell the scent of freshly baked cupcakes! And I love the metallic nail polishes! And black aswell, I think black is a nice color for every season, but especially for fall/winter. Greetings, your MFD
