I wore this outfit for a night out with friends, in an attempt to finally wear my Tsakiris Mallas shoes I bought back then, and “save” them according to the rules of the Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com.
Dress bought in Chalkidiki last summer, really old no-name bag, Tsakiris Mallas color block sandals (similar on spartoo), Ray-Ban Folding wayfarer sunglasses, Oxette necklace (close up here), Delight of Light stud earrings, vintage watch, and bracelets from Greek islands.
With T. in the army, I didn’t “get out” a lot this summer, at least not as much as I usually do, especially during summer. So I guess, that’s the reason that I hadn’t worn these (or many other of my shoes) so far. And to be honest, I thought that they would be uncomfortable, as their straps are a bit loose around my ankles, but thankfully I was mistaken. They were pretty comfortable and I felt great in them! In fact I can’t wait to wear them again! But that must have to wait, since I have to do a lot of shoe saving this month.

Thank you very much Denise! Unfortunately these photos were taken after our return from Chalkidiki. So I still haven’t seen T. for about 3 weeks, and it feels terrible. However, I’ll probably see him really soon, if only for a few hours. These last 2 months would be the worst I’m afraid.
I won’t put it in one of my favorite outfits of the year, but I definitely liked it too. And I’m glad you liked it that much. I haven’t worn that green dress with the pink belt since then. I didn’t have a chance (well I did but I wanted to buy something new for the wedding of my cousin)! You know me! 🙂
