Mint jeans, statement necklaces and full moon

On Friday the 31st of August aka the last day of Summer, we had a full moon (in fact a Blue moon), and I couldn’t pass the opportunity to go again to my latest favorite café in town to enjoy it while drinking wine with good company. I took my photos in the afternoon, and went straight there, to catch a good table so as to be able to have a view of the whole city again, and watch the sunset while I was there. Watching the sun set into the sea, never seize to impress me. As we’re slowly going into fall, I take every chance I can get to wear some of my summer items, and most importantly some of my summer shoes, which haven’t been saved yet. This was one of these cases.

It was a nice chance to create a gif again. Do you like it?

I’ll never get tired of showing you sunsets, I’m afraid.

My new statement necklace from Zara was the perfect piece to complete my outfit. Because of its size I didn’t wear any other jewellery except for my watch.

And of course this outfit was created starting from my latest shoe purchase. This is Shoe Save #26 regarding my Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com.

I could have worn them later, as I had many other summer shoes on the “to-be-saved” list, but I just couldn’t wait.

And of course, I had to share with you the blue moon.

Nothing different from the usual full moon, but still beautiful!

    • Thank you so much Denise! I was going for a simple yet elegant outfit. You know me, I never go for simple casual when I get out for an afternoon/night. I do wear casual clothes, but I don’t consider them that interesting to show them on the blog.
      To be honest, I didn’t see any difference between the blue moon, and the classic full moon, it was the say to me.
      The gif is really easy to make. I use the same program I have for editing my photos, and you just put the pics you like in it, and it creates it for you. But there are many sites that can do it for you too. In this case there are 4 pics that play one after the other, to create this moving effect.
      Yes, time flies! 30 days, it’s so close! Yayyy! 🙂

  7. I’ll never get tired of looking at your sunset pictures, I’m afraid 🙂 The moon is so beautiful too, I saw some pictures of it over the Parthenon in tumblr, breathtaking!! Love those shoes so much M, love the way you styled it with the jeans and top.. the jeans colour are perfect!

  8. you’re so lucky that the last day of summer came with nice weather! we had pouring rain here, it was just no good. in a way, it was appropriate to represent the sadness of having to go back to university hahah.

    ah, you look so hot! I absolutely love the outfit. those mint color skinny jeans are absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been looking to buy some creative and unique colored skinnies. 🙂

    I never get tired of sunsets either. I don’t think any sunset is the same as another, that’s why they’re so priceless and beautiful.

    • Thank you sooo much! I’m looking for more colored jeans to buy in the future. These are from Zara, and they’re really comfortable. I’m afraid I won’t be able to get into my old jeans this winter. I’ve been eating like crazy, and gained many kilos during summer.
      You’re right, every sunset, is different. So sad that you had pouring rain, but yes, I guess it seems appropriate. hehe

  16. Gif is cool idea. I always wanted to make, but never was sure how.
    You look absolutely amazing. Those jeans and black vest looks wonderful, but most of all makes this outfit you amazing necklace and those fabulous shoes. Perfect touch!

      There are many programs out there which can help you create a gif. You just put the photos in them and they’re ready. I’m sure your bf/photographer would know how to make them. You can also find sites to do them for you!
