Pastels with a hint of neon

Hello hello! It’s Friday today, and I’m pretty sure everyone’s excited for the weekend. I’m almost 2 weeks late in showing you my Easter Sunday outfit, but you know how it is, I usually do 2-3 posts a week. So, without further ado, I present to you my outfit from that day. As the title implies it’s mostly a pastel colored outfit, with just a tiny hint of neon.

Mango blazer, Paranoia top, Zara jeans, Zara TRF clutch bag, Steve Madden sandals on Spartoo, Donna Karan sunglasses, Zara necklace, Michael Kors watch, H&M bracelet.

 The weather forecast wasn’t so good, and it had been raining for days, so I was pretty sure that I wouldn’t have the chance to wear my new pastel purchases. But much to my surprise I woke up with the sun shining outside, and a beautiful warm day was ahead of us. I put my pastels on, and off we went to celebrate Easter with my brother and his in-laws. The food was exceptional, and we had a great time. I returned home late in the afternoon, only to change a few details of my outfit, and put a coat on to make it warmer for the night, and went out again to meet my friends.

I kept a couple of detailed photos for the end. I think I did a better job with the focus this time. Excuse me while I still experiment with a few things.

So here’s my new pastel clutch bag on its first outing, and my Easter manicure as I told you in my last post. I used GT Cosmetics mint green, no. 366, and Seventeen Cosmetics Lavender, no. 265 for my thumbs and ring fingers, and the same one for my toe nails.

The top was an Easter gift from my godmother, and I wore it here to keep the outfit more casual. Almost everything in this outfit was worn for the first time on Easter. My brother stained one of my blazer’s sleeves by mistake, but thankfully I sent it to the drycleaner’s and they managed to clean it.

And as seen on one of my previous posts, here are my new Steve Madden sandals worn in an outfit.

Lot of you asked me if they are comfortable, and I have to tell you that so far they are one of the most comfortable pairs I own. I wore them for about 8 hours that day, for the first time, even on lawn, and they didn’t hurt me at all. And if anyone’s interested I had to size down half a size for these, from my usual one.
