Hello everyone! How was your weekend? I’ve been really busy these days, both on the blog, since I did 3 posts in a row, and in my personal life. As I told you on my previous posts, and on my Facebook page, I went to Chalkidiki last Saturday and had my fist swim in the sea for this summer. The sea is still really cold in my opinion, even though the temperatures are already really high. Anyway, Last Friday was my best friend’s graduation in a nearby city called Kavala, so I travelled there to celebrate with him. You may remember Kavala from this post. T. met us there from Xanthi, and we had a really nice day all together. For the occasion, I chose to wear a casual chic outfit that I thought I’d be comfortable in, because we had to travel by car to get there.
Local shop blouse with sequins & bows, Mango pencil skirt, Café Noir flats via Spartoo.gr, Savil bag (see up-close here), Ray-Ban folding Wayfarers sunglasses (shop here), and Esprit watch.
Except for the sequined bow in the front of the blouse, it also has a bow ribbon in the back. So cute!
I know it’s such a cliché, but I felt like jumping for some photos, and so I did. Too bad, my shoes killed my feet. They gave me really bad blisters. And to think that they were bigger than a usual 38 size when I bought them….And that I wore them to be more “comfortable” because Kavala’s old city, is full with cobble streets, which are very tricky to walk on with heels. Really bad decision! Next time I’ll just stick to my heels. I can’t walk in flats; it’s so annoying, that they always give me the worst blisters.
In any case, I “saved” them, and this is Shoe Save #8 for me regarding my Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com. Of course after we took these photos I changed into my most comfortable summer sandals, which I also saved but didn’t photograph for the Challenge, but I’m sure I’ll wear them again. I was already wearing these flats for 8 hours, and I couldn’t keep them on for more, not even for another minute.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. See you really soon with another post!!!

Thank you! I used to dislike skirts, and dresses too when I was younger, but as I grow up, I find them more feminine and definitely more comfortable. Especially when I gain some weight from time to time.
Oh I smile a lot in my life, but I don’t know why, but in most of the pics I take with my self-timer I seem so grumpy. It must be the fact that I take them in a hurry…hehe 🙂

Ooh what a lovely look! I love the little surprise bow on the back of your shirt. Too bad those shoes hurt your feet, they’re so cute! These were such beautiful photos, too – you look gorgeous and so does the scenery! 🙂

wow you have the opposite problem that most of us have (or maybe just me!) 🙂 some times i find that some flats are too narrow for my feet, that is usually the cause of blisters for me. what a shame, they are such beautiful flats 😉

Well, they were a bit bigger on my feet when I bought them, but in summer my feet tend to swell. I don’t know if it’s just me, or it happens to everyone else. So now they’re quite narrow, and if you add the hot summer weather and the humidity, it’s even worse. But I have a problem with blisters with all my shoes. At the end of the day, they’re always narrow…
loving the bow – come and check out my New Look giveaway its a goo dun!
