Vancouver Fashion Week has started and I selected some of my favorite designs from day 1 to show you! Day 2 hadn’t started by the time I wrote this post, so I’m going to show you my favorites from that day, in a future post. The designers for Wednesday the 19th were: Gianni Maanaki, Nikki Babie, Theresa Chen, Frederick Fung, Papillon, TrunkShow by Misty Greer, Gert-Johan Coetzee, and RG Sanchez.

Hello my dear readers! How is everyone? My week started in a very bad way, and I’m predicting it will continue the same way. I always like to share some of my personal things with you, so let me explain…At Monday morning, my mom called me to go get her, because she fell and hurt herself. Turns out, it was worse than I initially thought, and I had to take her to the hospital for x-rays. The verdict? A broken shoulder bone (I think she broke the head part), which needs to be operated, but the doctors decided not to let her go through this procedure…Instead they’re gonna wait for a week until they examine her again, to determine if they’re going to do the surgery. During this week, she’s going to be in terrible pain, with nothing more than pain killers, which leaves her unable to do anything at all! During this week, I’ll have to take care of both my mom, and my grandma (who had a surgery on her leg about a year ago, if you remember), while doing all house works and errands myself. It’s gonna be a hectic week, but here’s hoping everything turns out ok, in the end.
So sorry to bother you with my bad news, but really needed to share it with someone, and this blog is partly my diary. In other news, returning to the fashion part of this blog, last Thursday I received the package I was waiting for. In it, there were 3 (!) boxes of shoes, 2 for me and 1 for T.

Blue, white and pink skies | Outfit post
Hello to everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. My weekend was full of rain, as Fall made its first appearance. But before the weather took a bad turn, we managed to photograph a few more of my outfits, with T. You’ll see them all when the time comes, but this week is almost completely dedicated to Vancouver Fashion Week, and my priority is to write a few posts about it. But we’ll get back to that, soon. This is the 2nd outfit I wore to spend the day with T. I desperately needed to save these sandals, according to the Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com that I’m taking part in, so I wore them with a pretty casual outfit, to tone them down. Let me know what you think in the comments section below.

For anyone who wants to attend, the event will be held at The Chinese Cultural Center, located at 50 Pender St E Vancouver. You can find directions here. Today, I’m going to share with a few more details about the event, such as the schedule.

1 outfit, 2 Shoe Saves
These outfit photos were taken a couple of days ago, when T. came to town and we went for a walk. We used to love to take the car and drive around town and then sit somewhere and talk for hours, but it’s something we didn’t have the chance to do for a long time. But now that his army duty is coming to an end, I think we’ll continue our little tradition. We missed our trips together, and we discussed about the next road trip we’ll take. He was my photographer for the day, and I really hope you enjoy these photos.
