Good morning to all my lovely readers, old and new! Today we continue the travel posts, with photos of my 3rd day in London. The 3rd day was even busier than Day 1 or even Day 2, which was quite busy as well, but I think it’s the one I enjoyed the most, since I had the chance to “feel” the city, like I was living there for a while. Neither the cold nor the rain, were able to stop us from seeing all these amazing sights and landmarks of London. Enjoy!
Day 3 started with a visit to Madame Tussaud’s wax museum…
I had the chance to take photos with many movie stars and other celebrities such as…
Colin Firth, Kate Winslet, Helen Mirren (if I’m not mistaken)
David and Victoria Beckham (my favorite couple and my style icon in one ;))
The royal family of UK (not everyone is in the picture).
The one and only King of Pop, Michael Jackson
Lady Gaga, and many many more that are not pictured here, but I’ll do my best to share a few more on my Facebook page.
Next stop, Westminster Bridge, to see the Parliament….
The London Eye from Westminster Bridge
The Palace of Westminster/ Parliament, where Big Ben (the great bell of the clock) can be found
At this point, the rain and the cold, made us seek for warmth and something to eat…We were happy to come across, Bakery County Hall, the sweetest French café and bakery….You can find its selections here, and see some photos of this amazing place here. I also loved the illustrations that were on the cups, cards, and on their site as well. Click here to see its Christmas decorations….
Me and my cousin had quiches with tomatoes, mushrooms and broccoli (I had a white Americano too), and T. had a slice of pizza.
On our way to London Eye, which was just around the corner, I couldn’t help but take a few more pictures.
The view from the London eye is magnificent. And you can buy a combo ticket from Madame Tussaud’s for a better price.
Took hundreds of photos but didn’t want to tire you with more. Check out my Facebook page in the future, if you’re interested to see more.
The Christmas market, near London Eye
I wanted to visit Tower Bridge, which was too far away to walk in this cold, but we decided to do it anyway. It was cold, and it was raining all the time, but it was worth it.
I think this is Millennium Bridge, which was destroyed by the Death Eaters, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. As a huge fan of Harry Potter I had to take some pictures of it.
Following Queen’s Walk, we passed Shakespeare’s Globe.
London Bridge, which was impossible to walk on, since everyone on it was so freaking busy….
Stopped to take some photos in a really nice business area, with Tower Bridge on the background
I love this one!
London Tower, which was closed at that time
Made it to Tower Bridge! We may have walked miles in the rain and the cold, but I was so excited.
After that experience we took the subway to Central London, and went to China Town to eat dinner, and after that we decided to visit Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum in Piccadilly Circus.
I didn’t take many photos there, because I was extremely tired by that time, but here are the few I took.
Tower Bridge made with matchsticks
And Titanic made with matchsticks
I hope you enjoyed reading this post…
I’ll share more photos on my Facebook page, so check it out sometime in the future.
I hope you have a nice weekend, and see you next time, with my 4rth and final post from London.

Thank you! Yes, we did many things in the 4 full days we had. However, we would have done even more if it wasn’t for the rainy and windy weather.. Days 1 & 4 were almost wasted. At least we did many thing on days 2 & 3!
