Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer review

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer review

This review is long due, and I really wanted to talk to you about this product. I actually hadn’t written a review in quite a while, that’s why, but I think it’s finally time to have a talk about it. You may have heard about Maybelline’s Instant Anti-Age concealer before, or you might know it as Instant Age-Rewind concealer, as it’s more well-known in other countries. We actually didn’t have it in Greece till a few months ago, when it was finally released, and I’ve heard so much about it, that I was dying to try it out. Thankfully Maybelline sent me one of the first ones to try and I can see why there’s been such a hype about it. It’s really light-weight, it conceals my dark circles perfectly, it doesn’t stay in the fine lines, but it stays put for hours, and doesn’t need any setting powder on it. It’s very easy to use, by twisting its body, and applying it with the sponge on top of the product, you get just the right amount. I also love the fact, that you can see how much product you have left, so you can buy another one before this one finishes. The only thing I would love, is if we had more shades of the product, available in Greece, because this Beige Nu, might be light enough to use, but it’s still darker than my skin, so when I’m using a lighter foundation, I can’t use this one. Other than that, it’s perfect. Have you tried it? What’s your opinion about it?

CND Vinylux Rhythm & Heat collection review

CND Vinylux Rhythm & Heat collection reviewI have reviewed this collection in one of my videos, but I realized, that I haven’t done it on my blog where I also write in English. So let’s review the new Rhythm & Heat collection of CND. I received these nail polishes some time ago, and I tried them on in the next couple of weeks. Starting from left to right, the coral one is #244 Mambo Beat, and it’s the best one among the 3. You only need one coat to have a nice non-sheer color, but you have the perfect coverage with 2 layers. #245, Sugarcane is the next best one. However, you definitely need 2 coats of this for a full coverage, and non-sheer result. Finally, with #249 Shells in the Sand you definitely need 3 coats of nail polish to have the desirable result but the color does look perfect in the end. CND’s Vinylux top coat is a classic you must own. It makes your manicure last longer, makes your nails shinier, and helps your nail polish dry faster. Have you tried any of these? What’s your opinion?

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused cleansing water review

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused cleansing water review

I’ve been using this oil-infused Micellar cleansing water by Garnier, for few months now, and I’m very satisfied by it. It’s a very potent makeup removing cleansing water, that is not at all oily, and doesn’t need to be washed off. It’s suitable for even waterproof makeup products, and you can use it on your whole face, eyes and lips. It’s suitable for sensitive skins, and it’s 400ml of product which will give you about 200 uses. You just shake the product before using it, and then put it on a cotton pad to remove your makeup. It has a very nice scent, which is not too intense and it removes your makeup easily and completely. It’s one of the best and most inexpensive micellar waters I’ve used and I’ll probably re-purchase it when this bottle is over.

Lush Oatifix fresh face mask review

Lush Oatifix fresh face mask review

Lush finally came to Greece a few months ago, and I was eager to visit one of their stores and buy some beauty products for me. Of course I’ve tried their bath bombs in the past, which I got from my travels to other countries that already had Lush stores, but apart from those, this was the first product I bought from the brand. The girls at the store recommended this fresh face mask based on the needs of my skin, which is usually dry and dehydrated. It is the strangest mask I’ve ever tried, but it’s also the best one. It’s very thick, which makes it a bit difficult to apply but it’s definitely worth it. You apply a thick layer of the mask on your face, and it makes your skin super soft. It has a blend of bananas, vanilla and oats to cool and nourish, illipe butter to reduce redness, ground almonds to gently polish, and kaolin to cleanse your skin. It also does a nice soft peeling in my opinion, when you take off the mask. And it also smells so amazing you’d be tempted to eat it. You can store it in the fridge for 1 month; after that it expires. If you have the same skin needs as me, I definitely recommend this mask. The 75gr are good for 5-6 uses, depending on the amount of product you apply to your face each time.

CHI Silk infusion review

CHI Silk infusion review

I’ve been using CHI’s silk infusion for months, but it occurred to me that I hadn’t done a review about it here on the blog, and I really should, because it’s an amazing product. It’s like a hair oil, but it’s colorless and more concentrated. It smells heavenly, and leaves your hair with a silky touch and a nice glow, especially if you straighten them. You can use it on wet or dry hair, and since you won’t be needing a lot of product each time, it’s gonna last you for a long time. I definitely recommend it, because I absolutely love it, and I’m sure you’ll love it too!
