Kat von D Shade & Light Contour palette review

Kat von D Shade & Light Contour palette reviewI’ve been using the Kat von D Shade + Light contour palette for a couple of months now, and I honestly love it. I mostly use 3 out of 6 of its powders, the first light one on the left, and the left & middle ones for my contouring. I love the middle one because it’s a bit warmer than the left one, but they’re both amazing colors. I haven’t tried the other 3 yet, because I don’t think they work well for my skin color, but I do love those I’ve already used. I love how thinly cut the powders are, very light on the face, and quite pigmented, so you only need a light touch of the powder to get enough product. They blend out very easily, but due to how powdery the products are, there’s always a mess around them, which I found it’s the only disadvantage of this palette. It has a really nice big mirror on the top, which is perfect for traveling with it, or if you do your makeup on the go. And it has a magnetic close, so it’s super safe to take it with you in your bag. I highly recommend you try this palette, if you love contouring and highlighting your face.

FooTherapy Tea Tree & Aloe Moisturizing foot lotion review

FooTherapy Tea Tree & Aloe Moisturizing foot lotionI’ve been using this foot lotion for a few months now, and I’m very satisfied by it. It’s very lightweight, not too oily, but oily enough to moisturize my feet sufficiently, gets easily absorbed by my dry skin, and has a very nice minty scent. It leaves your feet hydrated, and they also feel refreshed at the same time. I use it after my bath, usually after I have exfoliated my feet and soles, and makes my feet feel super soft. It has a lot of product in it, and you just need to use a very small quantity of it each time, so it will last you for a long time. Definitely recommend this product, and I’d happily repurchase it in the future.

NYX HD Studio foundation review

NYX HD Studio foundation reviewIt’s been a few weeks since I wrote my last beauty review here on the blog, so I’m back with another one. And I can’t believe I haven’t already written a review about this makeup product. I was certain that I already had, but I checked, and no…I haven’t! Let’s correct that then! I’ve been using NYX’s HD Studio Photogenic foundation for a couple of months non-stop now and I have to tell you, I absolutely love it. It has a very nice consistency, medium to high coverage, and it’s not absolutely matte, something that goes perfectly well with my skin type which is more on the dry side, especially during the winter months. The shade “vanilla” is a little bit darker than my skin tone, but it blends so well that you can’t really tell. I love the finish it leaves on the skin, and the coverage. It’s very light weight and easy to apply, it doesn’t makes you look cakey, on the contrary, and looks great in photos or videos. I love it so much, that I’m definitely going to purchase it after this tube is over. It’s my go-to foundation for the past couple of months.

Get The Most From Your Wavy Human Hair Weave

Whether your mane is curly, straight, wavy, or kinky, there’s some extensions, wigs, or perhaps a wig available for you personally. What if you wish to switch some misconception a little and then add drama for your normal hair routine? What if you would like bouncy, riotous curls one day and sleeker, straighter locks the following – must you buy two various kinds of weaves?

By no means! For a hair weave that transforms as naturally from straight to curly and back again, you just need Wet and Wavy extensions or wigs (as always, virgin Indian real hair is better), a couple of common tools, and simple instructions.

The good thing about virgin Indian Wet and Wavy hair is that it naturally curls and relaxes, without resorting to chemical treatments or much work. As it would seem, having your Wet and Wavy hair weave to twist up is simple; Simply wash or dampen your hair pieces, and they’ll form their very own waves or curls.

But if you wish to straighten individuals curls to rock a sleeker style, you can just use a round brush to gradually and lightly lessen the waves. Operate in small sections (about 1 ” thick for the most part) and begin in the tips of the totally dry extensions, brushing your hair downward and under. The process is much like that employed for detangling natural hair, although you’ll need to use a round brush rather than a paddle brush or wide-toothed comb. For the best results, make certain your hair is safely locked in place, either on the wig base, on your head, or bundled together within the situation of wefted hair.

For Wet and Wavy extensions with tighter curl patterns, you may want to make use of a hair straightener to straighten hair pieces out. Again, make certain your hair is safely installed, locked in your hands, or on the wig base so you don’t waste any motion or heat doing double passes. Set your iron at the lowest possible setting to obtain results – you don’t want to burn the hair extensions – and try brushing out a few of the curls as described above, before flat ironing. This helps safeguard and save your valuable Indian hair.

You may also use a comb or brush attachment plus a hair dryer focused on the nice and cozy setting to attain your straight dry locks. However, don’t attempt to clean, blow-dry, or flat-iron hair all at one time. Wet and Wavy hair weaves should relax when moistened, and also the more you wash your hair, the curlier it will likely be. So cleansing the extensions when you wish to straighten them out is only going to help make your job harder over time. Rather, make use of a waterless shampoo to cleanse the locks before straightening, or just wait a couple of days after washing.

Also take into account that repeated straightening of Wet and Wavy hair, helps pull increasingly more from the curl out, and that you’ll want to make use of a great deal of heat or time for you to get these locks smooth straight. If you truly strive for each day-versus-night transition or intend to switch up frequently, you might like to go on and purchase two different textures of weave hair.

But, for many ladies who crave somewhat variety, a Wet and Wavy weave can meet all your requirements and then some, with just a little bit of work. Would you like to try some now?

Sephora Rose eye & lip masks review

Sephora Rose eye & lip masks review

I recently tried out Sephora’s Rose masks for the eyes and the lips (not pictured here), and I’m here to write my review about them.

Sephora Rose lip mask: I tried it after I’ve swatched the full 44 shades collection of Sephora’s Cream Lip Stains on my lips the other day (watch my video below to see them), and it really helped my lips feel hydrated and normal again. It has a nice discreet rose scent and has a lot of product in it. My lips were so dry that they left the mask completely dry too after using it, but that’s good because they took all the good elements the mask had to give them. Follow up with a deeply moisturizing lip balm, and your lips are going to feel perfect again in no time. 5/5 for me.
