I tried the Solid brush cleaner by Sephora a couple of weeks ago, and I loved how practical it really is. You just dip your brush onto the solid soap and then rub it onto the silicone pad that comes with the soap. The soap is really good, and your brushes get easily & deeply cleaned. The soap has a quite intense scent, however it doesn’t get transferred too much onto the brushes. All in all I liked this product, apart from one small detail. The pad is quite small, so you can’t easily remove the makeup from your bigger brushes, such as the ones you use for your powder, or blush. I would also like some different sizes for the tips of the pad. It would be nice if the product could really get deeper into the brushes, and clean them more easily. However, it’s still a very good product, that I would happily purchase in the future.

Dr.Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass color correcting treatment review
I’ve been using the Cicapair treatment by Dr.Jart for over a month now, and I can honestly say I love it! It’s a thick cream, more like a paste, which has a light green color, that when you apply it on your skin it goes beige, and eliminates the skin’s redness. I personally have much redness on my face due to seborrheic dermatitis, and this cream has helped a lot with how my skin looks. First, you use your toning lotion, and then follow with your serum. I would personally advice you to also use a hydrating cream before Cicapair, especially if you have dry skin like me. Then, you apply a very small amount of the cream onto your skin, and watch it do its magic. It’s like a corrector; it almost completely removes any redness from your skin, and you can either use your foundation after it, or go out like this, like I do most of the time. It also has SPF30 which is amazing! I definitely recommend it. I use it all the time when I don’t want to wear foundation. And something tells me I’m gonna be using it all summer long.

Lorvenn Theraplex Hair Strengthening system review
Theraplex is a system by Lorvenn that consists of 2 products, meant to be used during technical procedures such as dyeing. I’ve been sent this product, a few months ago, and I wanted to try it, so when we dyed my hair last Sunday, we also added these 2 products. Step 1 is Theraplex Bond Performer, which is an active additive mixed with hair coloring (& bleaching) products, to protect against any damage that may be caused by the procedure. Step 2, is called bond locker, and it complements and enhances the protection and hair structure stabilization effect started by Step 1. I hadn’t dyed my hair in 5 months, but I really wanted to protect them from the procedure, and make the color last longer this time. It’s super easy to use, you just follow the instructions on the box, and your hair look deeply nourished, and healthy afterwards. Both me and my hairdresser were pretty impressed by the effect. Step 2 was like a deep mask, that made my hair very smooth, and easy to comb through. All in all, I think they’re both great products, and if you have blonde hair, or bleach your hair at home, it’s really going to help your hair look healthier.

CND Chic Shock spring 2018 collection review
It’s not the first time I’ve tried CND nail polishes, you know that, since I’ve already reviewed them in the past. But today we’re going to talk about the new CND Vinylux Spring collection, called Chic Shock. The collection is full of pastel colors, with names such as Candied (pastel pink), Taffy (pastel blue), Jellied (pastel yellow) and Gummi (pastel purple). I received Candied, Taffy and Jellied, along with their amazing top coat, and I thought I’d try them on, all at the same time, to give you my full review. You definitely need 2 coats of each, for the color to look pigmented, and not patchy. For Candied and Jellied, I actually applied 3 layers. Taffy was a bit easier for me, since I got the color I wanted, from layer 2. They’re perfect for spring, and I’m sure they’re going to last long too, since they’re long wear nail polishes that last on the nails for 7 days. Have you tried any of these?

Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real mascara
I’ve been trying the Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real mascara, for quite a while now, and I can certainly say that I like it, but not exactly love it. It does give my lashes some necessary length, but not so much of a volume. The one I have is a limit edition, that’s why it has a different cup, but it’s the same product, as they one you know. It’s definitely buildable, and it looks much better after two coats on, but I don’t really like layering my mascara, and I find this one extremely difficult to remove, even with micellare water that removes even waterproof makeup. It’s definitely not bad, but I think I’ve tried better, and I won’t be re-purchasing it in the future. Have you tried it yourself? What’s your opinion about it?
