Kat von D Shade & Light Contour palette review

Kat von D Shade & Light Contour palette reviewI’ve been using the Kat von D Shade + Light contour palette for a couple of months now, and I honestly love it. I mostly use 3 out of 6 of its powders, the first light one on the left, and the left & middle ones for my contouring. I love the middle one because it’s a bit warmer than the left one, but they’re both amazing colors. I haven’t tried the other 3 yet, because I don’t think they work well for my skin color, but I do love those I’ve already used. I love how thinly cut the powders are, very light on the face, and quite pigmented, so you only need a light touch of the powder to get enough product. They blend out very easily, but due to how powdery the products are, there’s always a mess around them, which I found it’s the only disadvantage of this palette. It has a really nice big mirror on the top, which is perfect for traveling with it, or if you do your makeup on the go. And it has a magnetic close, so it’s super safe to take it with you in your bag. I highly recommend you try this palette, if you love contouring and highlighting your face.

FooTherapy Tea Tree & Aloe Moisturizing foot lotion review

FooTherapy Tea Tree & Aloe Moisturizing foot lotionI’ve been using this foot lotion for a few months now, and I’m very satisfied by it. It’s very lightweight, not too oily, but oily enough to moisturize my feet sufficiently, gets easily absorbed by my dry skin, and has a very nice minty scent. It leaves your feet hydrated, and they also feel refreshed at the same time. I use it after my bath, usually after I have exfoliated my feet and soles, and makes my feet feel super soft. It has a lot of product in it, and you just need to use a very small quantity of it each time, so it will last you for a long time. Definitely recommend this product, and I’d happily repurchase it in the future.

NYX HD Studio foundation review

NYX HD Studio foundation reviewIt’s been a few weeks since I wrote my last beauty review here on the blog, so I’m back with another one. And I can’t believe I haven’t already written a review about this makeup product. I was certain that I already had, but I checked, and no…I haven’t! Let’s correct that then! I’ve been using NYX’s HD Studio Photogenic foundation for a couple of months non-stop now and I have to tell you, I absolutely love it. It has a very nice consistency, medium to high coverage, and it’s not absolutely matte, something that goes perfectly well with my skin type which is more on the dry side, especially during the winter months. The shade “vanilla” is a little bit darker than my skin tone, but it blends so well that you can’t really tell. I love the finish it leaves on the skin, and the coverage. It’s very light weight and easy to apply, it doesn’t makes you look cakey, on the contrary, and looks great in photos or videos. I love it so much, that I’m definitely going to purchase it after this tube is over. It’s my go-to foundation for the past couple of months.

Sephora Rose eye & lip masks review

Sephora Rose eye & lip masks review

I recently tried out Sephora’s Rose masks for the eyes and the lips (not pictured here), and I’m here to write my review about them.

Sephora Rose lip mask: I tried it after I’ve swatched the full 44 shades collection of Sephora’s Cream Lip Stains on my lips the other day (watch my video below to see them), and it really helped my lips feel hydrated and normal again. It has a nice discreet rose scent and has a lot of product in it. My lips were so dry that they left the mask completely dry too after using it, but that’s good because they took all the good elements the mask had to give them. Follow up with a deeply moisturizing lip balm, and your lips are going to feel perfect again in no time. 5/5 for me.

Jason Dandruff Relief Treatment shampoo review

Jason Dandruff Relief Treatment shampoo review

I ordered this product from eVitamins, to try it out, because I have some kind of sculp dermatitis, and I was hoping that it will help my condition. I can honestly say that I wasn’t satisfied with this product, because it feels like a medicated shampoo, which means that no matter the quantity you use, you won’t easily have enough foam to cover your hair and feel like it’s clean. It may have helped with my condition a bit, but I was expecting something easier to use, that will also moisturize my hair and make it feel clean after its use. Something else I noticed is that when I used my blow-dryer afterwards, it made my hair smell like melted plastic, so definitely not a pleasant smell to have on your hair. So even if it does work for my condition, I won’t be repurchasing it for the reasons mentioned above.
