Hello everyone! How was your weekend? I’ve been really busy these days, both on the blog, since I did 3 posts in a row, and in my personal life. As I told you on my previous posts, and on my Facebook page, I went to Chalkidiki last Saturday and had my fist swim in the sea for this summer. The sea is still really cold in my opinion, even though the temperatures are already really high. Anyway, Last Friday was my best friend’s graduation in a nearby city called Kavala, so I travelled there to celebrate with him. You may remember Kavala from this post. T. met us there from Xanthi, and we had a really nice day all together. For the occasion, I chose to wear a casual chic outfit that I thought I’d be comfortable in, because we had to travel by car to get there.

The birthday gifts
I promise this is the last post I make about my birthday, or my party (at least for this year), but I wanted to share with you the birthday gifts I got, because I really liked them. I don’t have much to say, so I’ll let the photos do the talking again, and I’ll put some captions below each photo.

My month in pics – May 2012
After all the posts about my birthday, my party, and my party outfit, I thought we’d take a break from it, to do my “month in pics” post, before I continue to show you a few more party-related posts I have for you. As the years pass, and we grow older, I thought the best thing we can do to “forget” it, is to have as many parties as possible to celebrate with our friends and family….Do you agree?
Here are the outfits of the month, in case you missed them, or to refresh your memory if you have already seen them.

Birthday party details
I wasn’t going to do this post today, but I got many requests, so by popular demand, I present you the post with the details about my birthday party including: concept and food buffet… Unfortunately I can’t post many of the party photos, because I want to protect my friends’ privacy, so I have mostly food photos for you today. But let’s start with the whole concept. And I ask you once again, to please bear with me!
I had very few guests at my party, mostly my closest friends. An invitation was sent to 5 ladies, telling them to come to my house on Saturday the 19th at 16.00 o’clock, for a beauté and linner (combination of lunch and dinner) party, bringing only their appetite and good mood… What they didn’t know was that I had a little surprise for them! The beauté part included having their nails pampered by a professional manicurist (the lovely and very talented Elena! – if you live in Thessaloniki, I can give you her number). Elena, spent 8 whole hours at my house, doing manicures and pedicures to me, my mom, and my friends, and that was my gift to my lovely friends. Thank you so much Elena, you were amazing! 🙂
While one of us at a time was having her manicure/pedicure done, the others were having conversations or enjoying the delicious buffet, which consisted mostly of finger food. As I told you, my mom and I were working in the kitchen for 3 whole days, to prepare this buffet, and it was all worth it because my friends had all great things to say about it. And I was really excited that everyone was more than satisfied with my selections, since the menu was created by me. I’ll leave the pics do most of the talking, and I’ll put some details in the captions below each photo.

My month in pics
April seems to have passed so quickly…I can’t believe it will be May already from tomorrow. Thankfully, the weather is finally warm, and the rains have stopped (at least for now!). April was the month of Easter, which means a lot of food, and a couple extra kilos which I’m trying to lose again. But let’s start from the pretty part of this month. The outfits!
This month I managed to post 6 of my outfits, and I was really excited about all of them. It started with tights, and finished with bare legs, and beautiful pastel colors.
