As promised, here’s the full look I was wearing on our visit to Keukenhof gardens. The original plan was to wear my grey midi dress with bare legs, and white sneakers, but the weather failed me so I had to layer up so as not to get a cold. When we arrived at Keukenhof, the weather was grey and cold, but around midday it turned sunny and warm. However I was happy to have chosen a less stylish, yet warmer option, cause when the sun set it was back to super cold weather. In my eyes, I looked super weird in this long dress, with jeans underneath and biker boots, but I had to layer with what I had. At least I got to open my jacket and remove my beanie and scarf after a while. The experience was magical, and I got to take some outfit photos even if I wasn’t so fond of this outfit. It is what I wore after all, and you’ll get nothing less from me. I don’t dress just for outfit posts, you know that. I photograph what I wear in real life, from casual looks and boots, to more formal looks with heels. Enjoy the photos and if you haven’t already, make sure to visit my previous posts as well, to see more photos of my trip to the Netherlands.

Keukenhof gardens – The Netherlands | Travel
2 weeks ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Keukenhof gardens in The Netherlands. The reason we wanted to schedule this trip to the Netherlands for this spring, was because of this park. The gardens are only open to the public for 2 months every year, usually from March, till May, so the window of opportunity was very small. I was super excited when we managed to book our trip, and even more excited the day we headed to Keukenhof. It’s an amazing experience that you absolutely have to live it, if you love nature and flowers as much as I do. We took a train and a bus to get there, and paid 16euros for the tickets, but I tell you, it’s absolutely worth every “penny”. The gardens are huge, way bigger than you can imagine, and we spent around 6+ hours, taking photos of the place and short videos for my upcoming vlog. There are big crowds going in and out, but it’s so big, that you won’t get any problems taking photos and enjoying your time there. There are flowers as far as they eye can see, and you will also find places to eat something when you get hungry or want a little pause from all the walking around. This post might be heavier than usual on the photo side, but believe me, I just picked a small amount of them to showcase here. There are also some “outfit of the day” pics coming on the next post. Stay tuned, and don’t forget to leave your comments below, or ask me anything regarding Keukenhof gardens.

The Netherlands Days 1 & 2 – Amsterdam | Travel
As you might already know, I traveled to the Netherlands on the 8th of May, and stayed there for about 6 days, till the 13th. We arrived early at the evening of the 8th, so we didn’t have much time to do a lot that day. Since we were too hungry (hadn’t eaten anything all day), we headed to a place I wanted to try, called Jacketz, which specializes on baked potatoes with fillings and toppings, for lunch/dinner. It was delicious, but more on that on another post. After that we took a stroll around the city, which was cold and windy that day, had a walk near Leidseplein and headed back to our hotel, to get an early start the next day. On Tuesday the 9th, we started by having a nice breakfast at another food spot I wanted to try out, called Corner Bakery, which is as Instagrammable as it gets. hehe After that, we headed to Museumplein to take photos at the I Amsterdam sign, and then met up with Ioanna from The Colourful Bouquet who now lives in The Netherlands and she was our tour guide for the day. haha She took us around Amsterdam center, walked us through the flower market, the Red light district and many other places. Around noon, she left and we went to have lunch. After a short return to our hotel, we went back to Amsterdam for a night walk, and walked by the Red Light District again to see how it looks by night, before we returned back to the hotel for the night. It was a really full day, and we walked way too much, and I made sure to take as many photos as possible. The “outfit of the day” is coming soon, along with photos from day 3 in Keukenhof, and the days after that. So stay tuned. Have tons of content to share with you!

My GAP Experience at Attica Tsimiski Thessaloniki
I recently visited the new Gap corner inside the Attica department store at Tsimiski street in Thessaloniki. It’s the first time I visit a Gap store so it was my first experience with them. The Gap corner was quite big, and it included the men’s and women’s department, and had a wide range of clothes from shirts, T-shirts, hoodies, jeans and shorts for men, to jeans, shorts, dresses, tops, and sweaters for women. I was eager to try some shorts and spring sweaters, because spring is here, and I can’t wait to start wearing lighter clothes. I loved this light blue sweater you can see above and those striped shorts (I actually bought these). What I loved about their shorts, was that they are not too short, just enough. I’ve shared with you my struggle of finding a nice pair of shorts for spring/summer that is not extremely short last year, because most stores seem to only sell very short ones these days. So I couldn’t be happier that I found one like this. It was exactly what I was looking for. I may not look my best in shorts, but they’re necessary if you live in Greece, where the temperatures in summer often reach the 40C degrees. All in all it was a great experience, and I may go back to buy a thing or two I left behind! 😉
