I finally got the chance to wear my new peplum top. I bought it on sale a few months back, but of course I couldn’t wear it back then. I had this combination in my mind for my first outfit with it, and I’m glad it worked out like I thought. The whole outfit is black and white, and the only colorful detail is my green nails. Super simple, elegant and with minimal accessories, exactly the way I like it. I can’t believe I’ve been through a phase of maximalism in the past, after spending most of my life wearing none jewellery. I guess we all go through experimenting phases, and if you’re also a fashion blogger you know what I’m talking about. I’m sure we’ve all “attended” our fair share of “arm parties” a couple of years ago. hehe So what do you think about this look?

Is it spring yet? | Outfits
I already know the answer to that question, and it’s a no. As much as I’m longing for spring, it’s still early for it to come. But we get some sunny and not so cold days already from time to time, so I jumped at the chance to dress in pastels the other day and go out to enjoy the sun. It was a bit windy, and kind of cold without my coat on, but with it I felt amazing, and as you know how much I love mint, you can imagine how happy wearing that outfit made me. I can’t wait for spring to come, and for the spring clothes and bold & pastel colors to be here for good. I had this outfit in my mind for a few weeks now, so I was so excited that I got the chance to finally wear it. What do you think?

Peplum tales | Outfits
This peplum top entered my wardrobe, some weeks ago, along with my forest green playsuit, and since then, it’s been waiting patiently in my closet for its debut. I couldn’t wait any longer, and wore it recently with one of my pencil skits, paired in a monochromatic otherwise outfit. I really liked the result, and since then I’ve already worn it a 2nd time in an outfit pretty much similar to this one. And both times I loved this top. This outfit falls into the ladylike chic style category I really like, and I feel the most comfortable in. Do you like this look?

Mint & neon yellow | Outfits
I’ve been waiting for months for the right occasion to appear so I could wear this dress I bought last year. When the right occasion didn’t present itself, and summer weather was almost gone, I took things into my own hands and wore it anyway. It doesn’t matter when you’re going to wear it to, as long as you do. And dresses like this, shouldn’t be kept in the closet waiting for their turn. From the moment I got it, I knew I wanted to pair it with my neon yellow bag (I know it’s such a statement piece, but I wanted to wear them together), but when these pumps got into the picture, I knew they were the right shoes to complete the outfit. So I wore my definitely-noticeable outfit to go out, and stopped for some photos before that. As much as I wanted to photograph this look, I came close to not-posting it, because I didn’t like the lighting in the pics, and I couldn’t stay there longer to take more because I was being eaten alive by mosquitos. So after what-felt-like 1 million photos, here are the only ones I actually kinda liked. I hope you enjoy them!

Total white | Outfits
A few days ago, I wore this (almost) total white look to go out with T. He had promised to take my outfit photos and then take me for shopping (I bought 2 goodies you’re probably going to see really soon), and as I didn’t have enough time to finish up my homemade smoothie, I took it with me and used it as a prop for this shoot to bring some color to this look. It was one of the rare days lately that wasn’t raining, and it was actually so bright, we struggled to find some shade for these photos. I later changed into flat sandals to go shopping (even I am not that crazy) and then back to my heels. I actually didn’t have the chance to enjoy it that day, so I wore it again 2 days later for a night out with T, after he had complimented it so much. Got rained on that night and caught a mild cold but it was totally worth it! Love it when the boy gives me compliments on my looks. 😀
