Last week I was in Athens again, for another Sephora event, that I didn’t want to miss. I didn’t take as many photos as the last time, because I was vlogging again, but here are the ones that I did take. I’m here with the second part of my travel diary from Athens. If you haven’t read the first one, here it is. I’ve already talked you through days 1-3, and here’s day 4, the day after the girls left. We started the day with breakfast/brunch near the area where we were staying. T. and I shared the fried eggs you see in the photo above in a cute little place called Monsieur Barbu. The red refreshment is homemade sour cherry juice. Read the captions under the photos to see what we did next, and watch the vlog at the end of this post, in case you missed it on the previous one.
Heyyy! I was finally able to go though the photos I took while I was in Athens, and I’m here to show you the diary from those days. I’ve already uploaded the vlog I filmed on my channel, but since it’s mostly in Greek, I wanted to make a post here as well. This is only part 1 though, because I had too many photos and I didn’t want the post to be cramped with them. We flew to Athens on Tuesday the 5th of September, with T., and arrived there late in the afternoon, but went straight to dinner with family/friends, so I don’t have photos from that day (you might want to watch the vlog though for some #foodporn). On the next day, my girls from Thessaloniki arrived too. You might already know them from their Youtube channels, on the photo above (left to right) we have Maria of Stylebows, Katerina of Kate Tzoe and Thalia of Miss Thalia. The reason we all went to Athens was because we were invited to attend the press event/launch party for Kat Von D Beauty, which is finally coming to Greece at the end of this month. Before completing my Athens-trip diary, I have to show you what I鈥檝e promised you. A post, with all the places I went for food, drinks & desserts when I was in Athens. Most of them I found through Instagram and Facebook, some were suggested by friends, and some others were just last-minute decisions. If you鈥檙e on a diet, stop reading now! There鈥檚 a lot of food pics in this post.
I鈥檒l start with the must-go places to go for dessert, because I鈥檓 sure that鈥檚 the ones you鈥檇 want to see first. Here we go!
Since I didn鈥檛 manage to photograph the look I was wearing to the wedding in Athens, at that time, I decided to wear it again in Thessaloniki, with the sole purpose of photographing it. If you follow my blog, and Instagram account you鈥檇 know by now that I didn鈥檛 intend to buy such a fitted dress for the wedding; on the contrary I was looking for something in A-line. But when I first saw it, I fell in love. And looking at this back, can you blame me, really? It鈥檚 one of the most beautiful dresses I鈥檝e ever seen. Simple, yet feminine and elegant in its own kind of sexy way. Obviously, I didn鈥檛 go anywhere in this dress that day, and since these photos were taken in the morning, and I was hungry and looking forward to the coffee and breakfast after our shoot, you must excuse me but I totally forgot to wear any jewellery except for my everyday watch, which I actually didn鈥檛 wear to the wedding. Apart from the jewellery and the slight change in my hair and makeup of the day, it was pretty much the outfit of the wedding day. So, what do you think?
