Winter pastels | Outfits

Winter pastels 4- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comI’m really excited about today’s post, because…. I went shopping and came home with quite a few finds. At last! I really needed to buy some new stuff, and I couldn’t help myself anymore. I broke my “shopping diet”. I hadn’t actually bought anything since last August, when I bought 2 pieces of clothing. So I got a few things, and among them were 3 of the items I’m wearing in this post. I found this gorgeous mint coat, with 50% off, and I couldn’t leave it behind. The funny thing is that Kleoniki had the same idea for another mint coat, and we met up downtown unintentionally looking like twins, so we had a good laugh. If I could I would have bought the baby pink, and baby blue version of it as well. Also new are the sweater and this beautiful hear-printed shirt. I kept the rest of the outfit quite simple and black, to keep some balance since it’s still winter and I had a long day ahead of me so I wanted to be warm and comfortable. Oh I love this look! What do you think?

Baby it’s cold outside | Outfits

Baby it's cold outside 5- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comSuch an original title (enter sarcasm here), I know! But it was the only thing I could think of, because it was totally true. As you’ll notice, this post has such a low number of photos in comparison with my usual ones, and it’s not because I didn’t like what I was wearing this time, no. Well, it’s not my favorite outfit to wear to go out, but it was cozy and perfect for the super super cold day we had. But, the only thing missing from protecting me was my gloves. And they made a huge difference because I couldn’t move my hands after some minutes outside. And my photographer wasn’t happy either. So these 6 shots, will have to do for now, I’m sorry. This was kind of my “uniform outfit” in the cold weather we had over the past few weeks. This and my cozy sweaterdress instead of this sweatshirt saved my days. Stay warm people! I heard another cold wave is coming our way! Brrr…..

From day to night with Axel accessories | Outfits

From day to night with axel accessories 3- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comThis is the 3rd part of my collaboration with Axel accessories, and I chose a black outfit, paired with green accessories to make it more special. It’s a look that can be worn from the morning till night, with a few tweaks. The dress is perfect for a day in the office, when worn with low booties and a nice blazer, and after the office you can easily ditch the booties for a pair of high heels in bold color, and leave the blazer behind to expose the best feature of the dress: its back. My favorite items of this look are the necklace and this cute green bag! I hope you like this look. There’s another one coming soon! 😉

Shopping attire | Outfits

Shopping attire 7- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comI’m back on outfit posting, and I’m starting this month with another casual outfit. This post could also be named “what to wear when shopping”, because that was exactly the case that day. No I didn’t actually shop anything (as I told you on a previous post, I haven’t done that in a while), but I went to Axel accessories store, to get some items for an upcoming collaboration with them, where I’m gonna style some outfits wearing some of their pieces. But more on that, on the next post! For that day, I wanted to wear something warm, because it was rather cold outside, and at the say time, I wanted to be comfortable, and avoid wearing too many layers because I knew I was going to try out many clothes from the store. So this outfit, served me well, as it’s quite simple, and apart from the oversized vintage sweater you can see here, there’s also a bodysuit underneath it to keep me warm (an item that I wear every time I go out during winter for the past years). What do you usually wear when going shopping?

Parisian | Outfits

Parisian - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comLately I’ve been really trying to find different ways to style, basically the same pieces from my closet, and I end up relying on last minute’s inspiration (since I have decreased my purchases to 1-2 pieces per season). The results are either on the much casual side, like you’ve seen here and here, or on the dressy ladylike chic style I usually prefer, like on this post, and this one. Either way, I’ve liked the result, and I must say that I have even surprised myself, with creating outfits with the same old pieces. Being a personal style blogger, and showing 3 outfits per week, is not easy, if you don’t shop new pieces to refresh your wardrobe and style your clothes in different ways, in order for them not to look the same all the time. And I’m definitely proud of myself for not being a victim of consumerism, in the middle of the crisis, and for choosing to spend my money on more pressing and important things. So ladies, if you can’t buy new things, for any reason, don’t feel bad; just take a look at all your clothes really carefully, and find hidden treasures in the bottom of your closet, that you might have not worn in years, but can now refresh your style without breaking the bank. Like this shirt, that I’ve had since secondary school, and haven’t worn in years, and that beanie that once belonged to my brother. Brought together to give a fresh note to my old striped dress you’ve seen before, this time belted, and paired with over-the-knee socks giving a Parisian air to the look. I hope you enjoy it!
