About one week ago, I took myself shopping again, and managed to come home with both pairs I had my eyes on. Not too expensive, not too cheap, and since I didn’t have shoes of the same style, I decided to buy them both. I already wore one of them on Easter (the weather finally decided to be good with us for a day), but you’ll have to wait till you see the outfit of that day.
So without further ado I present to you my new colorful purchases, starting with this one from the Greek brand Tsakiris Mallas.

I talked to you before about the Tsakiris Mallas brand and their tendency to draw inspiration from well-known designers a lot, and since I was in love with this particular design from Giuseppe Zanotti I decided to buy a similar and much cheaper version of them. The obvious differences are that they have different heels, and that the Giuseppe Zanotti version have a brighter yellow color compared to this yolky-yellow. I have no idea what I’m gonna wear them with, but I really liked the color-blocking.
As for the other pair, I chose the mint green version of the Steve Madden Dynemite, which are sooo beautiful and comfortable.
I was thinking about buying the lavender version of these, as I already have mint green and regular green shoes, but I didn’t find it in our stores. You can find the lavender version of these here.
I’m sure that you’ll see me wearing these a lot this Spring/Summer. So I hope you liked them, because I sure did! 🙂

I saw the peach version too, but I wanted the mint green from the moment I saw it. They are really high, around 14cm, but the platform is also high and that really helps. For me they seemed really comfortable, as I was wearing them for many hours on Easter Sunday, and didn’t have a problem, as I usually do. My main problem with shoes, is not their height though, but their fit, because my feet tend to swell after a few hours, and all my shoes can give me bad blisters. But I didn’t have that problem with the Steve Maddens.
It really depends though, on how comfortable you are on high heels, and platform shoes. If you’re used to them, then I’m sure you’ll find them comfortable.

Oh and I think you may have to size down for the Steve Maddens. I usually wear a 38 but I had to buy the 37.5 for these. The 38 was too big. So you should definitely try them on to find the right size.

The colorblock ones are absolutely fabulous! I love the color combination and I’m sure you can figure out what to wear them really easily! Summer dresses, all-black outfits for a pop of color, shorts… there are so many combinations in my mind right now haha!
