Last week I went shopping (again!) but this time, I only bought nail polishes. I needed to buy some new colors because I decided to throw away my old ones, either cause they were too old, or cause I wasn’t going to use them again.
I present you my new buys.
A Lilac one by Seventeen (No.265), a mint green by GT Cosmetics (No.366), Baby Blue (No.145) by Erre Due, Turquoise (No.10) and Grey (No.384) by GT Cosmetics, and lastly Tommy G’s Black Nailquake (No.2).
I wasn’t sure whether I was going to buy the Nailquake polish or not, but after seeing it on a lot of bloggers, I decided to try it myself. It sure is something different that I want to try, and when I do, I’ll show you the results.
Last week I chose to paint my nails with the mint green one, as you may have seen in my previous post, and I can say that I really liked it. The color is really nice, and after a week it is still pretty good and without even a chip, so I can surely say that I’m satisfied.
The pictures were taken outdoors, without a flash but the weather was really sunny so it may seem a little bit blue-ish. I painted two coats of the color and no top coat.
And this is an indoors picture with no flash while I was waiting for them to dry.
So, what do you think? Would you paint your nails mint green?
Don’t forget to:
That colour is just brilliant! Perfect for summer.
Thank you! That was my thought too! 🙂
amazing colors!
I loved the color and congratulations for the new purchase! By the way, the best manicure I have ever seen in Europe, cause when I see “nail pictures” (in Europe!) they are all so terrible, cuticles everywhere! Perfect manicure, congratulations!
Once again thank you VERY much! Your comments are always so nice and sweet! 🙂 I did my manicure by myself, and in fact I only painted them, i didn’t do anything with my cuticles. I never do, I don’t think I have to. Only when my manicurist is doing my nails she cuts them or something, but only on my toenails.
Wow, even more amazing to know you just have to paint your nails, not cutting cuticles, etc… they really look fabulous!
Thanks for the nice words! I only write the truth! These days I’m feeling a bit down for some bad reaons, but I always look ahead, I’m optimistic (maybe too much, but it’s better this way!)
Aww I really hope you feel better! It’s a good thing you are optimistic, it’s always better to see things this way.
I don’t like cutting the cuticles, they become worse if I do. It’s hard enough to just paint my nails (I can’t keep my hands steady enough), but I’m quite good at correcting them 🙂
