Oh my, how quickly the years go by… My little blog now celebrates its 5th anniversary today, and as I always say, I couldn’t be more excited about it. We wanted to do something bigger for the anniversary post, but plans didn’t go as we wanted, so our “celebrations” are really low-key this year. But if everything has gone according to plan, you must be seeing the new (and hopefully improved!) Do You Speak Gossip? since T. and I had been working on a redesign for 2016. We didn’t change much, since we wanted something fresh, but still practical for both you and me. So we tweaked the old theme a bit, and we really hope you like the changes we made (they’re mostly done to the homepage of the site).

4 years ago 3- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comAs promised, here’s the full outfit of the day we celebrated my blog’s anniversary with a cake. 4 years ago, I wrote my first post on this blog, and without putting too much thought on it, I became a blogger. I told you many times before, that I treat my blog like my business, but at the same time I see it as my child. It’s something that I’m really passionate and proud about. So naturally I had to celebrate its “birthday” and dress up in a proper way! Here’s the outfit of that day. Simple, two-color, ladylike chic, like my signature style! I hadn’t worn this dress in a while so I thought it was a good opportunity to do so. I hope you like the look. Don’t forget to take part on my blog’s new giveaway.

Happy 4th anniversary DoYouSpeakGossip.com 8Officially, the 4th anniversary of my blog is tomorrow, on the 15th of January, but I usually post on Wednesdays, so I didn’t want to leave my blog without a post, and I decided it was a nice opportunity to celebrate its anniversary for more than 1 day. So today’s post is a celebratory one, with a “birthday” cake and everything. It feels like yesterday that I started blogging but at the same time, it doesn’t. Because I know how much effort I’ve put into this blog, and how much I struggle every day to make it better. Last year, we celebrated my blog’s anniversary with a whole new blog re-design, where we did not just customize a ready-to-install theme, but we built a completely new theme from scratch. When I say we, I mostly mean T., since my knowledge on coding is limited, but credits go to me too, since I gave him the guidelines, and made all the other changes that didn’t require complicated coding. I’m still super content with this theme, so this year, I won’t make big changes. At least not for now… But to celebrate it in a more special way, I have a surprise for you, so better come back tomorrow, on the actual blog anniversary, for it.

My month in pics | January 2014

january 2014 outfits - DoYouSpeakGossip.comMy, my, this month passed so fast! But I can definitely say it was exciting, and I really wish the whole 2014 to be as exciting as this month was (if not more). Well, for starters, this month set a new record for my outfit posts: 12 out of the 14 posts of the whole month (you can see them all here)! My previous record was 9. I really hope to continue this way for the whole year! So apart from lots of outfits, this month was full of meetings with dear friends; it marked my blog’s 3rd anniversary (and the new totally custom-made design of the blog, which I love), saw the first snow of the season, and made my 1st appearance as a blogger on TV, on a local TV show. Pretty exciting, no? I’ll let you enjoy the photos of this post, which includes my insta-pics of the month, for those of you who don’t have an Instagram account (if you do, then you must click here and follow me now! Happy 3rd anniversary DoYouSpeakGossip.com - ballons 4

Hello everybody, and welcome to the new “Do You Speak Gossip?”! If everything went as planned you should be seeing “our” new theme now…something that both I and T. have been working on for the past month or so. We wanted to keep the good values of the previous one, but make the new one, more minimalistic, and closer to my style. It’s completely custom-made, according to my taste, and built-from-scratch by T., which means, it’s completely unique! A huge thank you goes to the saint that I have the pleasure of calling my boyfriend, who had the patience to work with me on this, and kept working even when he was sick, in order to meet my deadline. 🙂 I hope you like our new look!
