When it comes to series with amazing fashion, the first one that pops into my head is definitely CW’s Gossip Girl. Not only it has an interesting plot and very good music, it also shows the latest fashion trends. And who’s better to show off these trends, than the young, rich and powerful crème de la crème of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The intro says it all: “Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite”.
I’ve been watching the series from the start, and I’ve seen so many beautiful outfits. We’ve seen it all: from casual yet fashionable school outfits, to formal dresses, purses and shoes, which everyone would envy.
Is Gossip Girl, the new Sex and the City? As far as the fashion style goes, I say it is! But that’s just my opinion. What do You think?
