1st look from Amsterdam | Outfits

1st look from Amsterdam - Outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

I decided to change up my posting schedule a bit this week, so as to share with you more posts from my trip to the Netherlands. You might have already read the first part of my trip here, but I didn’t to share more outfit photos there, and decided to make a separate post. My outfit of the 2nd day, was definitely not something special or even stylish, but it was way colder than we had anticipated so I had to make do with what I had brought in my suitcase. So I did a lot of layering on my trip, to keep myself warm. I used a light (spring) scarf to protect me from the wind, and belt to keep my thick cardigan closed. I played a lot with tones of gray and pink on my vacation, so even if I looked 10kg more from all the layering, the colors of my outfits still matched. haha I wore my new white sneakers with the pink detail at the back, and I had to borrow my boyfriend’s grey beanie for almost the whole trip. Well, it might not look chic but it managed to keep me warm, so that’s fine by me. Hope you like my look! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below!

The Netherlands Days 1 & 2 – Amsterdam | Travel

Amsterdam travel spring 2017 - museumplein I Amsterdam sign

As you might already know, I traveled to the Netherlands on the 8th of May, and stayed there for about 6 days, till the 13th. We arrived early at the evening of the 8th, so we didn’t have much time to do a lot that day. Since we were too hungry (hadn’t eaten anything all day), we headed to a place I wanted to try, called Jacketz, which specializes on baked potatoes with fillings and toppings, for lunch/dinner. It was delicious, but more on that on another post. After that we took a stroll around the city, which was cold and windy that day, had a walk near Leidseplein and headed back to our hotel, to get an early start the next day. On Tuesday the 9th, we started by having a nice breakfast at another food spot I wanted to try out, called Corner Bakery, which is as Instagrammable as it gets. hehe After that, we headed to Museumplein to take photos at the I Amsterdam sign, and then met up with Ioanna from The Colourful Bouquet who now lives in The Netherlands and she was our tour guide for the day. haha She took us around Amsterdam center, walked us through the flower market, the Red light district and many other places. Around noon, she left and we went to have lunch. After a short return to our hotel, we went back to Amsterdam for a night walk, and walked by the Red Light District again to see how it looks by night, before we returned back to the hotel for the night. It was a really full day, and we walked way too much, and I made sure to take as many photos as possible. The “outfit of the day” is coming soon, along with photos from day 3 in Keukenhof, and the days after that. So stay tuned. Have tons of content to share with you!

Flowers & lemons for my birthday | Outfits

Flowers & lemons for my birthday 6- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

Hello my loves! It feels so long since I’ve last written on my blog. I’ve been on vacation to Holland for the past week, and I got back on Saturday, so all my posts were scheduled, but now I’m back to work and it feels nice but weird. It’s actually my birthday today, hence the title of this post. But we shot these photos a couple of weeks before my vacations. I had just bought these tulips, and I wanted to include them in my photos, because they matched my lemon printed top. However, the sun was too bright so you can’t really see how beautiful my small bouquet looked. I love how bright the addition of yellow makes my outfit. I chose to pair it with neutral tones, to make it stand out. It was still a bit breezy when we took these photos, but now the weather is much hotter. Can’t wait to start sharing with you more summery outfits, and get all my summer clothes out. Just wait! 😉 Hope you like this look!

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused cleansing water review

Garnier Micellar Oil-infused cleansing water review

I’ve been using this oil-infused Micellar cleansing water by Garnier, for few months now, and I’m very satisfied by it. It’s a very potent makeup removing cleansing water, that is not at all oily, and doesn’t need to be washed off. It’s suitable for even waterproof makeup products, and you can use it on your whole face, eyes and lips. It’s suitable for sensitive skins, and it’s 400ml of product which will give you about 200 uses. You just shake the product before using it, and then put it on a cotton pad to remove your makeup. It has a very nice scent, which is not too intense and it removes your makeup easily and completely. It’s one of the best and most inexpensive micellar waters I’ve used and I’ll probably re-purchase it when this bottle is over.

Baby blue & baby pink | Outfits

Baby blue & baby pink 2- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.com

When you’ll be reading these lines, I’ll probably be in Amsterdam. If things went as planned I traveled to the Netherlands yesterday, and this is a scheduled post. In this post, I’m wearing two of my favorite pastel colors together: baby blue and baby pink. Even though they work perfectly well together, as all pastels do, this sweater is a winter one, and it was too hot to be wearing it that day. I learned it the hard way. This means that spring is finally here to stay, and I decided to celebrate it by clutching a beautiful bouquet of tulips, to be the star of this outfit post. Finished the look of with my pink ballerinas and backpack, two pieces that I’ll be wearing a lot all summer long. Hope you’re not tired of seeing them yet. Do you like this look?
