Kat von D Alchemist Holographic palette review

The Kat von D Alchemist Holographic palette is one of the most beautiful palettes I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. It has a gorgeous holographic packaging, the palette itself is triangle-shaped, and it has 4 pastel-colored highlighting powders in it. “Emerald” has a green hue, “Saphyre” has a blue hue, “Amethyst” has a violet hue, and “opal” has a pink hue. They’re all holographic and very pretty and all highly-pigmented. A light touch of your brush on them is going to give you extreme glow. That’s even good or bad, depending on how you’re doing your makeup and how much glow you want for it. For me, it’s definitely too much for everyday, so I’m keeping it for very special occasions. My favorite hue is definitely Opal, because it’s the most discreet one, that might give you a more natural glow. Mind you though, there’s nothing natural about these highlighters; the result is gonna be intense. Another thing I didn’t love about this palette, is the size of the pans. They’re tiny, like eyeshadow ones, so if you’re using them a lot, it’s gonna hit pan fast. That compared to the price of the palette is a bit discouraging. But if you love the colors and you love your bold highlighters, go for it. 馃槈

CND Glacial Illusion Collection

CND glacial illusion collection

The new Glacial Illusion collection of CND for Winter 2018, is full of icy-cool shades, which I personally adore. It includes 6 colors, as always, with names such as “Ice Bar”, “Cashmere Wrap”, “Radiant Chill”, “Alpine Plum”, “Mystic Slate” and “Winter Nights”. “Ice Bar” is a shimmery translucent pink, “Cashmere Wrap” is a nice pink/beige, “Radiant Chill” may look copper but it actually has rose gold hues, and gives a nice mirror effect, “Alpine Plum” is an icy lilac shade (which I’d love to add to my collection), “Mystic Slate” is icy grey/blue, and last but not least, “Winter Nights” is a nice deep night blue. The last one gives a pop of bold color to the whole collection and makes a nice combination with practically any color of Glacial Illusion. As you can see from the photo above, I received the colors “Winter Nights”, “Radiant Chill” and “Cashmere Wrap” of the collection, along with their famous top coat which I love. They’re all very pretty, but I personally loved Radiant Chill which I’m currently wearing on my nails.聽

NYX 3-in-1 brow review

NYX 3-in-1 brow review

NYX’s 3-in-1 brow, is a product that combines a brow pencil, a brow filler and a brow mascara in one. I have mine in “brunette” and I really love how full and natural it makes my brows look. Step 1 is to use the pencil to draw in your brows. Step 2 is to fill the gaps on your brows with the filler. It has a sponge tip that is filled with eyeshadow, and helps you fill in your brows nicely and naturally. Step 3 is to comb and set your eyebrows with the cute little mascara, that also adds some color to them. It’s seriously one of the best brow products I’ve ever used, and compared to other brow mascaras I’ve used, this one actually adds color too. So if you’re in a hurry, or if you want to use just one of these products on your brows, you can definitely do it. If you use them all, you get natural but full brows that look and feel amazing. So I definitely recommend you try it!

Avalon Organics Anti-dandruff conditioner review

Avalon Organics Anti-dandruff conditioner reviewI totally forgot to talk to you about this product. I bought the Avalon Organics Anti-dandruff conditioner a few months back from eVitamins, and I’ve been using it ever since. It’s a medicated anti-dandruff conditioner, which is vegan and contains no GMOs. It’s made of all organic ingredients, and sounded way too good not to try it out. I usually put my masks and conditioners only at the ends of my hair, but since this one is supposed to help with dandruff, and also relieve scalp dryness, itchiness and flakiness caused by dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis (my condition!), and even psoriasis, I thought it would be best to use it on all my hair. It has a very thick consistency, and it’s kind of difficult to cover your whole head of hair, especially if you have long hair. You have to shake well before using it, to get some ingredients to mix well and have the right consistency. It has a really intense smell, but it does leave your hair soft and flake-free if it’s used correctly. Try not to use A LOT of product (which is kind of difficult to avoid with this consistency), otherwise your hair will feel heavy afterwards, and become greasy sooner. Make sure to rinse well and get all the conditioner out of the hair. I don’t think I’ll be buying it again in the future, but it is a quite good product.

Skinfood Royal Honey Essential Queen’s cream review

Skinfood Royal Honey Essential Queen's cream review

I’ve聽been trying out this moisturizing cream by Skinfood for a month or so, and I can tell you it was love at first sight. It smells heavenly; like honey, and has a really nice, gel-like consistency. It is a bit sticky, and it creates some kind of a film on your face, but it is worth it, as it deeply moisturizes it, and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. It’s seriously one of the best face creams I’ve ever tried and I definitely recommend it, especially if you have dry skin like me.
