Just a quick outfit post today, to show you the outfit I wore yesterday… I mixed my polka dot peplum top, with my squared cardigan. I wasn’t a fan of the combo at first, but I ended up liking the result a lot. Hope you like it too! I’m going shopping with a friend now, have to run! See you soon!
This is the look I wore to the Youtubers’ meet up last Friday. I wanted something casual, comfortable and warm enough, but without losing my personal touch, so I picked a quite simple look, and added a favorite pair of heels. The star of the outfit however was this new T-shirt I got with a “slogan” which couldn’t be more “me” even if it wanted to. I laughed so hard when I saw it, and it was gray so it got in my shopping cart in no time. The thick cardigan was more than necessary as at night the temperatures fall around 15 degrees, and it proved to be a wise choice. I had such a fun time with all the subscribers I got to meet, and the youtubers too, and I hope we do it again soon!
The day yesterday was quite amazing. Not too hot, just enough, not too cold, just enough. We took these photos as we left the house to go meet some friends for coffee, and we had such a great time. The temperature was really ideal! Unfortunately, when I returned home, I had to change into something warmer to go meet another friend, because we’re now back to cool weather again. Back to the outfit though… This outfit was again a spur of the moment. I actually had a different pair of shoes in mind for it, but changed my mind, because these ones looked even better. The sleeveless trench coat created a length contrast with the dress and completed the outfit nicely. No other accessories needed! The shoes are stunning and comfortable so it was a double win for me. Summer is still here, and it’s been quite warm these past few days. So yesterday, T. and I went for a walk, and decided to take a few photos for the blog, while we’re at it. I opened my closet, and found this old slip dress I haven’t worn since I was a teenager, and jumped with joy when I realized I could finally try out the slip dress with a T-shirt trend, that is having a comeback from the ‘90s. A chocker is another very popular ‘90s trend that has returned like a blast from the past, and of course I couldn’t help but combine them in an outfit. My All-star sneakers and my white backpack completed the outfit, and my new Firmoo sunglasses, gave the outfit, a subtle but very welcomed pop of color. I recently tried the CND Vinylux nail polishes from the flirtation collection, and more specifically “be demure”, the pink color on the left, and I was impressed. They say it’s a weekly polish, which can stay on your nails for 7 days, and it’s absolutely true. Now, I have to mention that almost all nail polishes tend to stay on my nails for days unharmed, because I have a dry base, which is good for nail polish. But this manicure has been on my nails for 2+ weeks now, and my nails look almost like their first day. Of course there’s growth, but apart from that, they’re completely unchipped. Totally recommend them!
