We shot these photos last Sunday, but I didn’t have the time to edit this outfit post sooner. So here it is now… A super casual outfit, for a super hot day in my city, Thessaloniki. Vacation days may be over, but at least I have tons of photos and videos to remember them by. This was the first actual vacations I had in years. We booked our vacations no more than 1-2 weeks before, as it was a “last minute” decision. We spent some days thinking whether on not we should do it, but I’m so glad we finally decided to go. It was one of the best vacations we had. We visited Chios island, where my father was born and raised, and we toured the island by car. It wasn’t my first time there, but it was T.’s, and even though it was also tiring from all the walking and driving (for him), it was really nice. We shot my look of the day, at the chapel of Agios Isidoros, a few kilometers north of the city of Chios. It’s such a picturesque place; I wanted to visit it since the first time I show photos of it. So of course I had to take photos there. My outfit might be casual, but the location is everything. Don’t you think?
Can’t believe that summer is almost coming to an end and I have only worn just a fraction of my summer clothes. I hope I’ll get the chance to wear more of them till summer is officially over…hopefully around October in Greece. A few days ago, I wore this striped off the shoulder dress for a walk, and I absolutely had to pair it with my brown lace up sandals. I didn’t wear any accessories, apart from a long necklace in gold shade, and a large pair of sunglasses with yellow/red mirror. This dress is really lightweight, but a bit see-through too. It was sent to me last year, in one of my collaborations but I didn’t get to wear it because it was already fall. Nothing a white pair of shorts underneath the dress can’t solve though! I think it looks really good. Love its ruffles! I’d be wearing it a lot more in the following weeks. Hope you like it!
It’s the last day of August, but that doesn’t mean that summer is over. Sure, I don’t like the extreme temperatures of the Greek summer, but I don’t like fall and especially winter better, so I definitely CAN wait for the summer to end. August was an amazing month, and even though I didn’t have many outfits to show you, or I didn’t have enough time to share what I have with you, it’s ok because I finally took some time off from the blog, to enjoy my vacation and just relax. And I’m sure no one really cared that I didn’t have new posts 3 times a week, as I usually do for the past 3,5 years now, and no one “died” because of my absence. So I got back from my vacation and I more than made up for it, by posting new articles, since I missed you A LOT. Lately, I’ve been posting more and more on Instagram (you can follow me @DoYouSpeakGossip), and after the eating marathon that my vacation was, I was more than happy to be back to eating healthy and cleaner food, which I’ve been also sharing with you on Instagram.
