A girl’s first communion is really important! It’s a whole event she will remember for the rest of her life. Unfortunately in Greek Orthodox churches, we don’t celebrate our first communion the same way, mostly because it happens at such an early age in our life. But I really wish we did! I’d love to get dressed in those pretty white communion dresses, and prance around in them.
