I recently tried the CND Vinylux nail polishes from the flirtation collection, and more specifically “be demure”, the pink color on the left, and I was impressed. They say it’s a weekly polish, which can stay on your nails for 7 days, and it’s absolutely true. Now, I have to mention that almost all nail polishes tend to stay on my nails for days unharmed, because I have a dry base, which is good for nail polish. But this manicure has been on my nails for 2+ weeks now, and my nails look almost like their first day. Of course there’s growth, but apart from that, they’re completely unchipped. Totally recommend them!

Valentine’s Day manicure | Photo tutorial
If you want a simple, but beautiful manicure, for Valentine’s Day, you don’t have to go to a salon. You can make it yourself at home, easily, as I did mine. This is the 2nd time, I tried a similar manicure. The first one was last February (you can see it here), and I liked it so much that I wanted to do it again, by adding some glitter to the mix. I thought it would be a good idea to show you how I did mine, in case you want to try it too. Unfortunately, I didn’t have someone to take step by step photos, as we did last time with my photo tutorial, but I did the best I could, to photograph the steps myself. Most of the instructions, are written on the photos, but take a look at the captions too. The manicure looks even better if you’re wearing something like this.

How to do outline nails | manicure tutorial
A few weeks ago, I did a similar manicure, and I was asked by many of you to do a tutorial. I know it would have been much easier for you to watch a video tutorial, but honestly, I don’t know how to do one, nor I have the time and energy to experiment with videos for the time being. I’m not saying that I never will, just not now. But it’s a really easy manicure to do, even for the less experienced (like me, who is a complete amateur who learned how to do everything by simply experimenting on my nails… I’m no way an expert), so I took many pictures, in hopes that they’ll be enough to show you how I did it, step by step. Since I didn’t want to use the same colors, I tried something I wanted for a while now, inspired by this pin on Pinterest, which takes border mani a step further by adding a mat finish. Totally loved the result! I want to thank T. for taking once again pictures for me. I’ll put a short label under each photo to guide you step by step on the process.

My nail polish collection
A few months back, I shared with you my shoe collection, and I always had in my mind to do a similar post to show you my nail polish collection. It all begun 2 years ago, when I threw away all of my nail polishes which had gone bad. Then, I found some amazing brands and I started collecting new colors. Although, nail polishes are not something you can keep for years, like you can with shoes, I really like the colors I have so far, so I don’t think I’m going to buy many more in the near future. Today I present to you my collection of nail polishes together with some recommendations, and favorites I have. Enjoy!
