Total black in summer? Yes! Despite the fact that it was 35 degrees outside, this airy dress managed to keep me as cool as possible. It’s super comfy, and floaty, and that makes it perfect for summer, despite its color. Since I wore a black dress, I paired it with black accessories as well. My black cross body bag, and my latest purchase, these strappy mules, finished off the look perfectly. Add a black watch, a black bracelet, and a black pair of cat eye sunglasses and a total black look is easily created. Do you like my look? I sure did!
This summer, the Bottega Veneta mules were all over the internet, and as much I disliked those, it made me miss my old nude mules, that looked like them, but were way cuter (in my opinion of course!). The reason I didn’t like the Bottega Veneta ones that much, is because they’re too square toed. And even though both mules, and square toed heels are having a comeback, I can only go this far. So I gave my super old mules a try, and I actually liked the result it gave to the outfit. Also starring in this look: my new tulle skirt, my new (but basic) camel t-shirt and my new tan colored bag. All these were purchased recently and you can still find them in stores. Something very simple for today’s outfit; My favorite playsuit, and my new favorite shoes, my mustard mules. Paired with my floral summer bag, to create a very casual and laid back look (at least in my eyes). I don’t have much to say today, so I’ll keep it very short. You know I have a love affair with mustard since last fall, but I’m not sure that you know that this love is still pretty strong. I’m actually in love with everything mustard right now, and I think I want to own every mustard item I find. So when I found this mustard top and these mustard mules, I absolutely had to have them. Actually, almost all pieces of this outfit are new, since the shorts were also bought recently, and they’re from the current collection, so you can still find them in stores. I love the combination of mustard and light blue, and I absolutely had to pair them together. The mules have a very low heel, something I wanted to buy for a long time now, and I finally started buying some lower shoes this summer. Let me know what you think about this look. As for me, I absolutely loved it!
This post is dedicated to one of 90’s biggest trends that is having a comeback: mules! Love them, or hate them, they’re back again, and we’ve seen them on the feet of every blogger and non-blogger out there. But it wasn’t until I started re-watching old episodes of Sex & the City, and I saw those beautiful red mules on Carrie’s feet, that I felt reminiscent. And like this, I decided to give my old pair of mules a chance to shine again. Oh how much I loved mules when I was a teenager. This is actually my first pair of mules right back from the 90’s. I never thought I’d wear them again. I kept them mostly for sentimental reasons, but here they are again! I actually owned many pairs in different colors and they’re all handmade, and even some of them custom-made. I tried to make the look more current with skinny jeans and my lunch bag.
