Before the storm

These pics were taken about 2 weeks ago, on a really cold day just before the snowstorm hit the town. Even with so much layering I was quite cold, especially on my feet. Yes, I know, I thought the maxi skirt would (partly) protect me from the cold, and I wanted to be comfortable so I went out wearing it. The worst part was when I took my coat off for the pics and I was really exposed to the wind. Thankfully I didn’t catch a cold (I’m a tough one to break!), but there were some weird old men, looking at us from their car, probably wondering what we were doing, taking pictures in such freezing temperatures. Well, they got the Look back *insert angry-looking face here* and decided to leave us in peace.

I can be really scary when I want to, believe me. Both of us think so. hehe

Top 10 posts of 2011

This week’s IFB project (#26) was to make a special post about our favourite posts of 2011. In order to do this I had to go through all this year’s posts, and pick (up to) 10 of my favourites. This sounds easy, but it isn’t ‘cause I wrote all of them, and I love them equally, so it was too difficult to pick only 10. However, I managed to do it. I remembered my emotions and thoughts when I was writing them, and I kept smiling the whole time.

Here we go (in no special order):

1. Take a bow

Favourite outfits

I was thinking what should my next post be about, and then I got an idea. I will present you my favourite outfits I wore on the blog so far.  I don’t do outfit posts on a daily basis, so this can’t be a monthly column, but I will give you my top 5 of my favourite outfits.

It was a really difficult choice, because I couldn’t easily narrow it down to just 5 outfits, but my bf helped me choose. So, there you go, here’s my top 5 list.

Starting from my favourite to the least one of the 5!

1. “A forest full of plane trees…” post

David and Victoria Beckham at the Royal Wedding

Now that all the gossiping about the Royal Wedding is finally starting to cool off, it’s time for me to write about my favourite celebrity once again! I didn’t watch the wedding but I got well informed about everything that happened there, thanks to the media.

I can’t say that I liked many outfits out of the wedding (I was expecting something more special from a Royal Wedding after all, apart from the extraordinary hats – of course Kate Middleton’s wedding dress and reception dress are excluded as they were amazing), but I couldn’t let the opportunity of writing about Victoria Beckham’s outfit.

At first, I wasn’t sure whether I liked her outfit or not. It was way too dark for a wedding, and that’s why many people criticized it. But, after seeing it again and again I came to like it.
