I may look sad or angry in most of these photos but I really wasn’t. The thing is, I had a terrible headache which was made worse by the bright sun, and I kind of got tired of trying to find a good spot to photograph this look, because wherever we went, the light was just not right. But we managed to take at least a few good photos of this look, so I can show it to you here today. As I said, it was a really sunny day, but don’t let the sun fool you, it was cold, and quite windy, and that’s why in most of the photos I have my hair all over my face. I actually straightened it before the shoot, but the wind decided it shouldn’t stay nice and ruined it. Oh well! I thought about this outfit when I saw this heart-printed shirt in my closet, and I got inspired by it, to try it with a mini skirt (one I’ve worn only once or twice), and my over the knee boots. See, I don’t own a lot of mini skirts, because they don’t look that good on me, but I really liked this combination, and I think that the outfit looks quite good and decent. haha I topped it off with my cropped jacket because it was still too cold to go outside with just a light shirt. Hope you like this look.

We took these photos a couple of days after the New Year started, and we haven’t been able to take any more photos after that, because of the terrible weather we’ve been having in Greece lately. This outfit was worn just before the cold days started. It was already a bit cold, but not the under zero temperatures we had after that. The sun really helped so I wouldn’t get cold, so I didn’t hesitate wearing my slitted sweater dress and my over-the-knee boots. The thing is that I always forget how deep those slits are, and I go out wearing the “dress” with tights like these, ending up looking a bit sexier than I’d usually like to. hehe Thankfully I was wearing short shorts under that so no harm was done. Both the sweater dress and the boots kept me warm enough for the day. Can’t say the same for that night though, even though I changed into a thicker pair of tights. Do you like this look? I was going to publish this post earlier today, but I got delayed by so many things that I really couldn’t. But it’s up now, and I can finally show you my casual outfit of the day. Wool dress, over the knee boots, no sunglasses, and me looking sour and blinded in almost every pic. Haha I should have worn the sunglasses! They’re right there on my head! As I predicted every other photo of me is with my eyes closed, but oh well, I wanted to not be wearing my sunglasses in my outfit pics for a change. That day we met with friends at the mall to go shopping, eat lunch and drink coffee while catching up on our latest news. It was a full but good day, and the first one after the vlogmas videos I had the chance to stay up late and not need to get back home to edit another video. Hehe Hope you like the look!

Over the knee boots with jeans

You can probably tell by the number of photos in this outfit, that I didn’t like my outfit of the day. And you’d be…correct. I didn’t have a lot of time to think about my outfit that day. I knew I wanted to wear my new over the knee boots, so I decided to pair them with some jeans. However, I shouldn’t have chosen a blue pair, because it made a contrast with my boots, and it didn’t look good. It looked even worse in the photos, and I was contemplating for days whether or not to post them here, but we don’t always have good outfit days, as we don’t always have good hair or makeup days. We’re all humans, and we’re far from flawless. So here’s a far-from-flawless outfit of the day, as a reminder to myself to a) stay with your instincts and don’t wear your new boots with jeans (maybe not in a contrasting color at least), b) stop eating greasy foods, you gained weight again! haha I hope you have a great week!

Skater dress & over the knee boots

Last week we visited the renovated Migato store downtown and took a closer look at their fall/winter 2016/2017 collection. As a result, I got home with a new pair of boots. I’ve been flirting with the idea of buying a pair of over the knee boots lately, but I wasn’t sure if they were going to look good on me. But when I tried these velvet ones who just came to the store, I knew I had to get them. So here’s the first time I wore them. For their first outing, I decided to pair them with a mini skater dress, to make the look playful and fresh. I really liked how it looked. Since the boots have a low heel, they can be worn from day to night easily, so I would definitely recommend them. Check out their link at the end of this post.
