I usually don’t change the order of the outfit posts, but I really wanted to show you this one first, before it’s too late. What I mean is that I wore this outfit on Valentine’s Day, so I wanted to show it to you before it was outdated. T. and I decided to spend the night at his place, cooking, eating and watching “About Time”. Unfortunately, he was a bit sick that day, so I cooked something light for him, while I went for my version of a croque madame. I wanted to keep room in my stomach for the fondant cake and the sparkling wine. It was a really romantic and lovely night. How did you spend V-day?

Vintage leather & tartan | Outfits
Happy Valentine’s Day lovebirds! It seems that this week is dedicated to red. By now you must have already read my outfit suggestion and my manicure inspiration for today, but if you haven’t, there’s still time to do it now. This is the outfit I wore a few days ago to meet Maria for coffee, and of course we took some outfit photos too. Never missing a chance to help each other out! I had absolutely no idea what to wear, till almost the last minute (what a surprise!), but I was really pleased when I thought of this whole look. It’s the first time, that I’m wearing this black leather skirt, which is actually vintage. I rescued it from a pile of clothes, my aunt was going to donate/throw away, and I’m so glad I did, because I love it, and I’ve been waiting for so long to wear it. It’s no secret I love pencil skirts, but it’s the first leather one I own. I REALLY loved this look, and I think that it would also look great with the shoes I’m wearing in this outfit. Do you like my outfit of the day? Are you celebrating tonight?

Valentine red | Outfits
Hello lovebirds! Since it’s Valentine’s Day this Friday, I thought I’d start this week, with a bit of inspiration for that day for those of you who will be celebrating. Last year, I stayed away from red and went with something completely different for Valentine’s Day, but this year, I’m thinking of “surrendering” to the clichés by adding some red details to my outfit of the day. It’s actually the exact outfit I wore on New Year’s Eve (but didn’t have the chance to photograph for obvious reasons), except for the tights (I went with black tights on NYE). So this time, I went big on red, and photographed this look for you. I’ll probably wear something different on V-Day, even though I don’t have any specific plans at the moment, but I already know that I’m adding some red on my outfit. Will you be celebrating Valentine’s Day this year? Do you have any plans?

Black Panther | Outfits
Last week, I received a new pair of black skinny jeans via mail, and I couldn’t think of a better way to wear them for the first time, than in a total black outfit. I know, most people would have worn them with something more colorful, but if something gets on my mind, it’s really difficult to get it off it. So total black it is, for their first outing. You rarely get to see me in such dark monochromatic looks, but I figured, that my copper red hair is all the pop of color I need some days. Let’s ignore the fact that they’re in desperate need of some hair dye. In fact, that’s exactly what I’m doing, by covering my dark roots with my beanie. Thank God for them! They can easily save a bad hair day, or what needs to be covered in between hair salon visits. hehe So, meet the black panther in me, and get ready for a picture loaded post.

A pop of red | Outfits
These photos were taken last week, when I met with Maria of Style Bows for coffee. It was quite cold, and I wasn’t in the mood for dressing more nicely. I swear, winter puts me in hibernation mode, and all I wanna do is stay at home, and watch my favorite tv series. My outfit of the day was quite simple, based on black and white, so I decided to put a colorful note by wearing my red scarf, and my Ruby Woo lipstick. Now that I look at the photos, I look like some kind of a famous painter, no? hehe What do you think?
