Cropped top & tartan pencil skirt | Outfits

This tartan pencil skirt is one of the few things that I bought this season, and even though it was love at first sight, I didn’t get the chance to wear it until now. My first thought, was to combine it with my navy blue cropped top and my two-tone toe-cap pumps in blue and black. At first I was hesitant about the cropped top, but decided to go for it, even though I’m quite pale, and definitely don’t have the body of a model. Fashion is for those who dare after all, and don’t care about what other people might say. Of course I also wore a blazer on top, which made the look classier and kept me warm. My long coat was the perfect finish to the look. You might recognize the skirt, and the whole styling of these photos from the post I made last week, when I showed you my face without the sunglasses for the first time since I started blogging. It was a really big moment for me, and I imagine that even bigger ones are coming… fingers crossed! Till then, have a fantastic weekend my dear readers. Mine is going to be rather busy. My blogger friends and I, have something really BIG planned for this Sunday. Stay tuned for more details next week, and follow me on social media to get the updates in real-time! Kisses to all!

B&W city look | Outfits

It’s been a pretty busy month so far, and it keeps getting busier as Christmas approaches. I have many outfit posts lined up to show you, and I’m a little behind at posting them, but I’m going to show them all to you as soon as possible. These photos were taken downtown the Sunday before last, when I went to meet with my blogger friends. Again, it was a really cold day, and I always want to be comfortable when I’m going downtown or doing a lot of walking, so my outfit of the day was really basic. My winter uniform, perhaps. I promise you a way better and edgier outfit on my next post! Don’t forget to check back on Friday! 😉

Layering up in style | Outfits

These photos were taken on a really, REALLY cold day, when I had an event to attend and wanted to be stylish, but I was trying to stay as warm as possible. My long knit scarf was the first thing that came to mind, to protect me from the evil wind of that day. A midi dress was chosen for the style factor (with a bodysuit inside of course), opaque tights, tall boots (to leave only the slightest of skin exposed), cropped jacket to create a “suit” look, and my longest coat, on top of all to keep me protected. It was going to be a long, long day… And my outfit of choice did not disappoint me. Well, what do you know? You can indeed look stylish AND warm at the same time. I was surprised too, believe me! What do you think? Do you wear lots of layers to keep you warm during winter? Do you struggle to find a warm AND stylish outfit too?

Light pink sweater | Outfits

For this outfit, I combined my 2 latest purchases: this light pink sweater which is making its debut on the blog today, and my new Betty London ankle booties. Once again I paired pink with gray, a combination I really love, and went for coffee with my fashion blogger friends. A statement necklace was the perfect finish to this rather casual outfit. These photos were taken just before it started raining again, and this sweater and my coat (not pictured) kept me warm for the day. What do you think?

New in | Betty London ankle boots

These babies have been on my hands for a couple of weeks now, but I was too busy showing you my latest outfit posts, that I didn’t have the time to do a post about them. Now, that time has finally come and I’m happily presenting to you, the latest addition to my closet, my new Betty London low heeled ankle boots. I needed something with a low/mid heel for every day, and since that something wasn’t part of my closet already, I searched hard and found these ones. The site said to size down, but I didn’t because I was too afraid they’d be too small for my feet. Now I see they were right, but since I’ll be wearing them with thick socks all winter, I don’t mind. They’re not anything special, but what do you think?
