Wedding season | Outfits

Wedding season is here, and we were invited to our first wedding last Saturday. Some of you must have already seen some details of my outfit on my Facebook page (if you’re not a follower, hit the “Like” button to get my latest updates), but I’ve made an outfit post to show the whole outfit to all of you! So far I’ve shown you about 3 wedding outfits on the previous years (here, here and here). You’ve already seen this dress on my cousin’s wedding outfit post. I wanted to wear the same but with different accessories. So I chose my new jelly bag, my new bracelet (birthday gift from my dear blogger friend Denisehead to her blog and follow her as well, she’s the most amazing girl), and pair them with my color blocking Tsakiris Mallas sandals, that I bought last spring (seen before wearing them with this outfit). I decided on a fishtail braid hairstyle, to battle the heat, and the crazy wind.

Matchy matchy | Outfits

Apart from my love for monochromatic looks, deep down I’m a sucker for matchy matchy outfits. I know that we live in an era where matching colors too much is OUT, but I like the (kinda retro) vibe I get when I wear matching colors. It’s something I learned from my mother, from my early years and no matter which trends are IN and which are OUT, I think it gives a kind of elegance that will never go out of style. Now that summer is really close, I can’t help but wear bright colors. I wore this specific outfit last week, to go get my new PC tower (still working on my old computer when I’m writing these lines), and have a doctor’s appointment downtown. All photos are taken by T.

What I wore on my Birthday | Outfits

Last Thursday on the 16th it was my birthday, and even though I decided not to have a big party this year, I wanted to go out with my bf. So after I blew the candles on my birthday cake with the company of some of my relatives, I went out for dinner. I jump at any occasion that allows me to dress up, and this is definitely high on my list. Dressing up for me means, picking something ladylike, a style that I, not only love, but I also think it suits my body and my personality. I had this dress in my closet for far too long (I had only shown it on my FB page a few months back), and I was looking for an opportunity to wear it, and the same goes for these gorgeous spiked pumps from Blink. They’re the perfect nude, to my almost pale white skin tone. Once more, I had to take my outfit photos myself, with the help of my trusty tripod. I was planning on at least taking them in my garden, but as soon as I got dressed it started raining, so my balcony was the only solution, if I wanted to show you an outfit today. But enough about that…let’s move on to the fun part…the photos.

In the army | Outfits

You may have already noticed, that this year I have a slight obsession over monochromatic looks (you’ve seen a total monochromatic look of mine here). When I got these 2 army green/khaki pieces from H&M, I couldn’t wait to wear them together. I was actually looking for a pair of khaki jeans for a long time, to combine with my high heeled brown booties spartoo. So when the temperatures fell a lot last week, I jumped at the opportunity to wear them all together. Seriously loved that look! I hope you enjoy the photos.

P for Pastels | Outfits

These photos were taken a couple of weeks ago, but I mixed the posts lately, to show you other ones first. We were on the first really hot days of spring, with temperatures rising up to 30 degrees just before Greek Easter. I couldn’t resist putting on pastels and bright colored sandals, and go out for coffee with a friend (the photos, however, were taken later in the day by T.). I love the outfit, and pics, but they don’t look that flattering. I think I’ve lost some weight since then (even though these pics don’t do me justice), and hopefully I’ll lose even more in the future.
