Outfit | Walking in Notting Hill

As promised, here’s the outfit I was wearing on our second day in London. The photos are taken on the roads of Notting Hill, one of my favorite places in London. You can see the cute colorful houses on the background. Unfortunately, these are the only outfit photos I took during our trip. I didn’t have the chance to take other ones, with all the running from one place to another. So, I hope you like them. You know how obsessed I am with oxblood lately, so you can understand why I chose this almost monochromatic outfit (with a few gold and black touches). My puffy white coat was necessary for the cold of London (even though I would have loved to take my Pepe Jeans coat with me instead). Day 5 in Chios – Anavatos, Avgonima, Nea Moni

I’m finally back from my vacation to Chalkidiki, but I still have a few posts to share with you from my trip to Chios. Despite the wedding, and the preparations, we still found enough time to tour the island as much as we could. Day 5 in Chios was dedicated to yet another “road trip”, this time visiting, the church of St.Markella, the villages of Anavatos and Avgonima and finally Nea Moni (New Monastery).

Day 5 in Chios – The outfit

The day after the wedding, my mom promised to take me to the place I spotted at Day 1, to take my outfit photos, just before we started our next trip to the nearby villages.  It was a very cute and picturesque marina very close to our hotel. I really liked this place, and I wanted it to be one of the locations I used for my outfit photos. The wind was blowing like crazy, but that didn’t stop me from wearing my strapless dress, and pose for photos.

What I wore to my cousin’s wedding

It’s finally time to show you the outfit I wore to my cousin’s wedding. I know many of my frequent readers were waiting to see it, and I hope it doesn’t disappoint you! I want to thank my mom for taking these photos (even if it’s highly unlikely she reads this). I always say how blurry are the pics she usually takes because she has trembling hands, but I think she did a fantastic job on this trip. Maybe the DSLR is much easier for her to use.

Family gathering | outfit post

The day before my cousin’s wedding, and of course after all the travelling and touring the island (I described in my previous post) we gathered at my aunt’s house. We weren’t initially going to stay for dinner, but seeing all the family gathered there it was hard to leave. My aunt made a huge table and all the family (and some friends of the bride) sit around to enjoy the food she had prepared for us. It was so nice to see all of my father’s side of family in one table (his 2 sisters with their husbands, and almost all their families as well). It’s something that hasn’t happened for many years. Really wished my father was there to celebrate with us. It felt really weird being on “his” island without him. But let’s leave this sentimental stuff behind and continue to the outfit of that day!
