I’m back from Athens, and back to work already! This is the last look we photographed, before my trip and before, dying my hair again. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen the change. If not, what are you waiting for? This one was the 4th look from the lookbook I showed you last week, and my favorite of all. I love this pink midi skirt, and I loved the combination with the black crop top and the similar colored block heels. Overall, the result was something I’d happily wear to an event, such as a wedding or even for a night out for drinks. The bubbles added some playfulness to the look of the day, and I love how the camera captures them, even though the lighting wasn’t ideal in all photos. I really hope you like this look. These culottes are also one of my latest sales purchases, and even though I loved them, I’m still not sure about them, and how they look on me. Most of my friends complimented me on them, so I’m eager to make them work. For their first outing, I decided to go with my off-the-shoulder top, a previous purchase of mine, but I wasn’t sure about the shoes. Since I’m not that tall, and the pants are “cutting” me around the ankles, I didn’t want to wear a pair of shoes that would do the same. I rejected most of my pumps because I definitely wasn’t going to wear closed pumps in such heat, but I didn’t think of my peep-toe pumps. So I went with my initial thought which was my oldie mules from the early 00s (possibly), but I was not too happy about the final result. I said I wasn’t going to buy new mules, because it’s a style I don’t wear that often, and I don’t particularly like, but now I’m finding myself wondering if I should. All in all, I actually loved this outfit, but I think it would have looked hell of a lot bet better, if the mules were higher, and had a more modern heel. Can’t wait to try my next combination with these pants!

Dusty pink & palm trees | Outfits

I wore this outfit on my nameday last Saturday, and all I have to say is that I loved it. I bought the skirt a few days ago, on sale, it cost almost 13euros, which was half price, and I really wanted to wear it as soon as possible. The first item that came to mind was of course my dusty pink Migato backpack, and then I thought about combining the skirt with this off-the-shoulder top that I was looking forward to wearing again. While thinking of shoes to go with this outfit, I remembered these pink & black ones, with the studs that go perfectly with my backpack. How didn’t I think of this combo sooner? It’s like a match made in heaven! I look ultra pale in these photos due to the bright daylight, and the white floor that reflects it, but I certainly don’t mind being pale, nor am I looking forward to being “tanned” for summer. I’ve embraced my skin color many years ago, and I feel great in it. Love your skin and bodies ladies. They’re the ones you were born with, and they’re fabulous! 😉 See you soon!

We shot these photos a couple of days ago, and I really loved my look of the day. I love girly looks with flowy skirts and high heels, you already know that. I wanted to keep the whole outfit in black and white, and I added a pop of color with my vintage red sunglasses. It’s been getting hotter and hotter lately, which makes it super difficult to shoot proper outfit photos, or have enough outfits to cover the week for that matter. So excuse me if I don’t posts 2 outfits every week. Also, my boyfriend, aka photographer has been having trouble with his shoulder for the past couple of months, and he’s not yet completely healed, so that makes it even more difficult to shoot for outfits often. But I’ll make it up to you, with more looks and videos too. Stay tuned!

I was supposed to post a wishlist today, but I decided to cut the column completely, at least for the time being. So instead, here is one of the outfits we shot recently. I really loved my new top I got from H&M recently. It cost less than 8euros and it looks great! I just need to get a few more bottoms for these kinds of shirts, and I’ll be alright. I wore this look, minus the pumps, to go downtown recently so I re-wore it the other day. I have so many shoes that they don’t get all the love they deserve due to the fact that I don’t go out as often as I would like to. But I’m always trying to wear all my pairs at least once per season, and these ones are very special. They’re like Barbie shoes and smell like bubblegum. So I thought they’d be the perfect pair to finish off my look that day! Baby pink and baby blue look amazing together. Don’t you think?
