Hello everybody! I hope you had a lovely weekend! I thought I start this week with a post I’ve been meaning to make for a long time. You know how much I love shoes, and that I own many pairs and many different styles. I get emails from readers, from time to time, asking me to tell them what my shoe essentials are. The essentials for every one of us might be different, but I thought about it, and made a list that I want to present to you here today, with some examples.

This is not one of those posts where I show you some of my latest purchases. Nope! In fact these weren’t even my purchase. These shoes were gifted to me, by a dear family friend. She bought them for a wedding, but didn’t actually wear them and kept them in her closet unworn for a long time. She knows how much I love shoes, and she insisted on giving them to me as a gift. Of course she refused to take any money from me, no matter how many times I offered because I knew how expensive they were. So I wanted to thank her from here as well. I know you want to see the shoes now, so without further ado, here they are:

Hello my dear readers! How is everyone? My week started in a very bad way, and I’m predicting it will continue the same way. I always like to share some of my personal things with you, so let me explain…At Monday morning, my mom called me to go get her, because she fell and hurt herself. Turns out, it was worse than I initially thought, and I had to take her to the hospital for x-rays. The verdict? A broken shoulder bone (I think she broke the head part), which needs to be operated, but the doctors decided not to let her go through this procedure…Instead they’re gonna wait for a week until they examine her again, to determine if they’re going to do the surgery. During this week, she’s going to be in terrible pain, with nothing more than pain killers, which leaves her unable to do anything at all! During this week, I’ll have to take care of both my mom, and my grandma (who had a surgery on her leg about a year ago, if you remember), while doing all house works and errands myself. It’s gonna be a hectic week, but here’s hoping everything turns out ok, in the end.
So sorry to bother you with my bad news, but really needed to share it with someone, and this blog is partly my diary. In other news, returning to the fashion part of this blog, last Thursday I received the package I was waiting for. In it, there were 3 (!) boxes of shoes, 2 for me and 1 for T.

September’s wishlist
September may already be here, but thankfully fall is not. This gives me a little more time to get used to the season change, and the depression that usually goes with it (as I told you on my previous post). However this post is dedicated to fall fashion, leaving behind the happy summer colors, and sandals. Fall is a transitional period when the weather usually plays tricks on us with the temperature and the rains, so it may be difficult to find the right clothes and shoes for it. But finding the proper attire for fall is essential if you want to avoid catching a cold, so my role here is to help you do it. This category started as my own wishlist, but changed into something else in the process. I love every item I show you here, without necessarily meaning, that I want to buy everything on the list. Hopefully there will be something on my list for you to love too. So here we go:

My shoe collection
Last month, I joined the Shoeper Shoe Challenge by Shoeperwoman.com, where I have to “save” all my shoes by wearing each pair at least once in duration of a year. If you’re wondering why, or if you simply want to read the rules in case you want to join as well (yes you can join whenever you like), you can click here. In order to join the challenge, I had to count my shoes, to find the total number…Also as an extra (optional) step, all who join are asked to take photographs of their shoe collection/shoe closet, simply for the joy of eye candy.
I counted 56 pairs then, (I have a few more, but I didn’t want them to be part of this challenge for personal reasons), but as you know my collection grew to 59 pairs last month. But let’s take it from the beginning…
This is my shoe collection of 56 pairs…
