Matchy matchy | Outfits

Apart from my love for monochromatic looks, deep down I’m a sucker for matchy matchy outfits. I know that we live in an era where matching colors too much is OUT, but I like the (kinda retro) vibe I get when I wear matching colors. It’s something I learned from my mother, from my early years and no matter which trends are IN and which are OUT, I think it gives a kind of elegance that will never go out of style. Now that summer is really close, I can’t help but wear bright colors. I wore this specific outfit last week, to go get my new PC tower (still working on my old computer when I’m writing these lines), and have a doctor’s appointment downtown. Purple sunsets | Outfit post

I wore this casual outfit on Sunday to go out with T. but we were running late, so we just caught the last of sun to take these photos. Some of them are a bit blurry but we did our best. The light was so little because of the clouds, that it was impossible to take photos without flash or a tripod.  In the last ones we finally gave up and used flash to show you some details. And I’m posting them knowing that some people will ask me again why do I wear sunglasses when it’s dark outside (by the way, it wasn’t), but oh well, my dear frequent readers, you know the answer to that. I hope you enjoy it despite the quality of the photos.

My New Year’s Eve outfit

 We spent NYE at my house with my aunt’s family next door, but I always like to dress up for these kinds of events. I had nothing else planned after midnight, but that didn’t stop me from wearing my new dress which I brought from London. I wish the photos were better, because the outfit was really amazing in real life, and these photos definitely don’t make the outfit justice, and neither do to me (I look like 80kilos in these photos). But taking photos indoors at night is always difficult for me. I did my best to show you what I was wearing that night so I really hope you like it.

Mint jeans, statement necklaces and full moon

On Friday the 31st of August aka the last day of Summer, we had a full moon (in fact a Blue moon), and I couldn’t pass the opportunity to go again to my latest favorite café in town to enjoy it while drinking wine with good company. I took my photos in the afternoon, and went straight there, to catch a good table so as to be able to have a view of the whole city again, and watch the sunset while I was there. Watching the sun set into the sea, never seize to impress me. As we’re slowly going into fall, I take every chance I can get to wear some of my summer items, and most importantly some of my summer shoes, which haven’t been saved yet. This was one of these cases.
