Super hot day in the garden | Outfits

Today’s post is super short. Nothing special to talk about. We took these photos the other day when it was still super hot, and we didn’t have anywhere to go, so we stayed at home, and decided to take some “outfit of the day” photos in my garden. This dress is new, however it’s a bit on the shorter side than I’d usually go for, and that’s because I ordered it online. I don’t know if I’m gonna be wearing it so much outside, except for maybe the beach, but apart from that I really like the dress. Hopefully we’ll get better photos of it to show it to you properly in the future, because it has a really nice back that deserves to be on show. But it was difficult to shoot better photos that day, since the light was already low. I’ll make it up to you though in the future. 😉

Total white | Outfits

I hadn’t posted a total white look, since this outfit post, back in 2014, when I still had super long hair. Since I was in the mood for girly and feminine outfits lately, as you may have noticed from the previous post, I decided to wear this one the other day! White might look better on tanned skin, but I love my pale white skin, and I’m not planning on tanning any time soon. No better time than now then, to wear a total white look in the middle of the summer. I love all-white outfits, and unfortunately I don’t own many white pieces; something I’d very much like to change in the future. This top is new, and it’s from a brand called Moony Mood. The pumps you already know that they’re favorites of mine, and I never miss a chance to wear them, even in such hot temperatures when it’s too hot to wear closed toe pumps. So white it is; from head to toe, literally! 😛 Do you like my look?

Playsuit stories | Outfits

Another new addition to my wardrobe, again from H&M, is this very short playsuit. I didn’t intend for it to be so short, nor I wanted it to, but I liked its print so much that I got it. It turned out to be waaaay shorter than I’d prefer it to be, so I may end up wearing it only to the beach, but I wore it the other day to run some errands around my area, and take these photos for you. This look is almost monochrome in different shades of blue, from turquoise to navy blue. Apart from its shortness it’s a really nice piece and very comfortable too. I ended up loving playsuits, because they’re so easy to wear and style in summer. So if you don’t already own such a piece I strongly urge you to buy one. It’s so versatile, it can be worn from day to night, from the beach to the night club, from the island to the city. You’ll definitely get what you paid out of it, and so much more.

Sunset hour | Outfits

As the title says, these photos were taken during the sunset hour, aka golden hour, but right at the end of it, before it got too dark. So we didn’t have much time to photograph my look. I just love wearing my culottes, but it’s now too hot to wear them anymore. I either need to get a summer pair, or I need to buy some shorts and skirts, because I realized I don’t actually have enough and I have too many tops, but not enough bottoms. haha That’s why I always end up wearing mostly dresses in summer. I finally solved the mystery. It took me a while, but I did! 😛 haha But it’s such a difficult task these days to find a proper pair of shorts, that’s not too short, it’s annoying. Back to this outfit though. I wore it to my nephew’s school show on a day that the weather wasn’t that hot yet. I have worn these clothes together again here, on a outfit I have really loved, but I thought it would look a whole lot different with the addition of pink accessories. And I think that it does. Don’t you think?

Perforated dress | Outfits

This dress is so simple that you can wear it everyday in the house, or go to the beach wearing it, but I loved its perforated details so much from the moment I got it, that I thought it would be a waste to just wear it at these occasions. So I belted it, and combined it with red accessories to make it more formal, and I think it totally worked, wouldn’t you say? I think every clothing item can be made more or less formal with the addition of the right accessories. For example, you can wear a pretty midi dress like this with sneakers to dress it down, or you can wear it with heels to dress it up. You can even wear sweat pants with heels, and a nice crop top maybe. It’s your choice. If you like it like this and you pull it off, no one will say they don’t work together. And if they say that, just ignore them and wear what YOU love! I always do! I’ve always been known to be a bit-overdressed in most cases. On the other hand, I think that everyone else is just under-dressing for everything these days. But as long as they don’t dictate what I wear, I don’t do that for them either. It’s your personal style and you can dress how you want to. Even if people judge or stare, just ignore them, and go on with what you do! 😉 That’s all for today from me!
