Oh my, 7 years of blogging, how fast the time went by? It feels like yesterday that I started this little blog of mine. I couldn’t celebrate my blog’s birthday in another way than an outfit post, could I? Here it is, and a festive outfit post I might add. With a balloon and everything. haha This year we decided against a bigger helium-filled balloon, because it was a total fail, ’cause the helium made the balloon look deflated in last year’s photos, because of the cold weather and we didn’t want to repeat that. So here’s a smaller and cuter one instead. I built the whole outfit around burgundy color, and I really loved how it turned out. It looked even better in real life believe me! I’m definitely going to wear it again for a night out with friends or the boyfriend.

Double plaid | Outfits
I had this outfit on my mind since last year, but I didn’t have the chance to “bring it to life” then. But that’s okay! I managed to do it now, and even though I was reluctant at first, because I didn’t know if I’d like the double plaid in contrasting colors, I actually loved the result! This is the 5th look of my lookbook video (go here to watch it now, and make sure to subscribe for more!), which I’ve promised you on Friday! Hopefully I’ll be back with more new posts, really soon, because I’m all out! The big anniversary of the blog is coming again and I’m stressed because I’m not sure I’ll manage to realize everything I have in mind for it. Hopefully, I will! We’ll have to wait and see! So, what do YOU think of the double plaid/tartan situation of this post, and the contrasting colors red/green/blue?

Cropped & plaid | Outfits
I wore this outfit sometime last week, when I met with the girls, to film a new video for our Stylishly Beautiful Youtube Channel (subscribe! to see it soon!). The day was sunny and warm, and it ended up being super busy, since I was out all day. I’m not complaining though, because I got to film the video, take these outfit photos (sorry for the weird colors, it was sunny & cloudy at the same time), and meet many friends for coffee, food, etc. I had an amazing time, but returned home at 3AM tired as hell. And my schedule have been pretty much that lately. How did you spend your weekend?

Valentine’s red | Outfits
This is an outfit that I’ve worn many times, more or less exactly the same; Yet none of them I got the chance to photograph it for the blog, so I thought, “hey, I should keep it as a Valentine’s Day outfit”. Well, I decided to wear it sooner than that, as an inspiration for the day, because yes, red is the color of VDay. What I didn’t realize, was that it would snow, and I wouldn’t have counted the days right, so I had to wear it and photograph it a day after it snowed. Yes, the snow melted, but the low temperatures stayed with us. So we took these photos in approximately 5’, before I get hypothermia, and then I got home and changed to something warmer. I never do that, because I like to show you what I actually wear outside, but I figured it isn’t cheating if I’ve worn it so many times before (I can count at least 3-4). So this outfit is purely for inspiration ladies. Have a fabulous Valentine’s Day tomorrow, lovebirds.

A tartan affair | Outfits
I’m back with another pencil skirt and an outfit I actually saw in one of my dreams, and woke up with the mood for it. So since the weather is getting colder and colder, and it’s no longer comfortable to go out bare-legged, this was probably my last chance to wear it. Not that I didn’t feel cold after sundown, but I was mostly indoors that day, so it wasn’t that bad. As you’ll notice, my belt and my cat-eye sunglasses are my only accessories to this outfit. I think I’m getting back to my old self, when my only accessory was my watch. But it’s probably just a phase. Hope you like this look!
