When I started this blog, I didn’t know where it will lead me, and how many readers it will have, but since it was personal, I knew I didn’t want to reveal my name. Not because I didn’t want my readers to know it, but because I didn’t want it to be out there on the internet. I wanted to create a barrier between my personal life and this blog. None of my friends knew its existence, until I started telling them some time ago. Some people get it, some people don’t and living in a country like Greece, and a rather small town (even city, compared to other big ones), you always get a few weird stares when you’re taking photos of your outfit, or if you generally do something different from the usual. But I’m in a point in my life, where all of my friends know about my blog (my family too), I’ve met with some other bloggers from Thessaloniki with whom I’ve become friends (and of course they already know my name too), so I decided that it was finally time, to cross that barrier I created and share my name with all of you. But before I do that, I decided to play a little game with you to make you more engaging, and make this revelation more fun! I’ll give you a few clues, and I’ll add a poll below, where you can add your own options, and guess my name (if someone else has already written the name you were going to write, just click on that option, and vote for it. If not, you can add your own)! I’ll reveal my name some time during this month. So, let’s see:

A casual day in paradise | Outfits
These photos were taken last Sunday in the nearest forest, which is exactly how I imagine paradise to be. We always mean to take more photos there, but we always fail to do it. I try to pass by this place at least once a year, during autumn, when the leaves are down on the ground, and the picture is even more beautiful than usual. That day I dressed in a really casual way, as we went to the mall after taking these photos to check out the “mid-season” sales that started on Nov. 1st. Stores in Greece are almost never open on Sundays so we had to go at least once. We didn’t buy anything but we went to Cinnabon, to try mouth-watering cinnamon rolls. Looking back at these photos, I can think of two things: one) I want to go there again really soon, for more photos, and two) a backpack would really compliment this outfit, but they’re absolutely not my style, so there’s no reason to buy one just to wear it only a couple of times. What do you think about this look and these photos?

Fall transition | Outfits
Everybody is complaining about the weather lately, because they say we were supposed to have cold weather by now, but I couldn’t be happier about it. The days are still quite warm at 20+ degrees, and the nights are cooler, without having to wear wools and coats yet. And honestly people, this is how fall/autumn weather in Greece is supposed to be. A transitioning period between summer and winter! The sudden changes from hot to cold weather (like the one we’ve been having the previous years – except for the last one) isn’t normal. That’s why we have 4 seasons, and not 2. I’m taking advantage of this transitional period to still wear some of my summer clothes, mixed with some of my fall/winter ones. Like this dress which you’ve seen before in this post, which I mixed with my tartan shirt, and the comfiest shoes ever, my biker boots. A bit of girly, and a bit of grunge, and limited to none accessories; exactly how I like my casual outfits to be.

My month in pics – October 2013
Despite the fact that I managed to catch a cold, and I’m not feeling at my best (physically) at the moment I’m writing these lines, when I look back at this month, all I see is happy moments, and amazing memories. This month was full of outfits I truly loved, meetings with blogger friends (that I couldn’t be happier about), events that took place in Thessaloniki and many many more. I can definitely say that this month was one of my best, and I can only hope that November will be as wonderful, if not better. As always, in this post, I’ll share with you some of my favorite moments and outfits: a recap of my month as captured by my iPhone and camera. You can follow me on Instagram to see more daily updates from me, and things that usually don’t get posted on other social media.

The cardigan dress | Outfits
It’s a National Holiday here in Greece today, and I realize that not many of you will be here to read this post, but either way, I’m going to go on with my regular schedule for my foreign readers, and for all of you, who like me, stayed in the city. Last week, I met again with some of my blogger friends from Thessaloniki. It seems to becoming a regular thing, and I can honestly say I love it. Going out with friends with the same interests AND taking outfit photos for each other’s blogs is amazing. I feel blessed to have met all of them (not only the ones who made it this time). These photos were taken by Maria of Style Bows. If you want to see her outfit of the day, click here. This is another outfit, I created instantly and I loved wearing it. I wore my trusty long cardigan on top of my dress, and completed the outfit with a studded belt, my lunch bag, and a pair of high heeled booties. It was super feminine with the right touch of edgy, and I loved how the cardigan moved behind me and I really thought it looked like one piece with the dress underneath it. Blue and black was always a favorite winter combination for me, so I’m glad that it’s also one of the biggest trends of this season. Do you like it?
