My month in pics | January 2014

january 2014 outfits - DoYouSpeakGossip.comMy, my, this month passed so fast! But I can definitely say it was exciting, and I really wish the whole 2014 to be as exciting as this month was (if not more). Well, for starters, this month set a new record for my outfit posts: 12 out of the 14 posts of the whole month (you can see them all here)! My previous record was 9. I really hope to continue this way for the whole year! So apart from lots of outfits, this month was full of meetings with dear friends; it marked my blog’s 3rd anniversary (and the new totally custom-made design of the blog, which I love), saw the first snow of the season, and made my 1st appearance as a blogger on TV, on a local TV show. Pretty exciting, no? I’ll let you enjoy the photos of this post, which includes my insta-pics of the month, for those of you who don’t have an Instagram account (if you do, then you must click here and follow me now! What are you waiting for? 😛 ). Let me know which outfit is your favorite of the month. Mine are 5, 10 and 12 (horizontally).

Nice and warm for a snowy day | Outfits

Nice and warm for a snowy day 2- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comOn Sunday afternoon, I was going to meet T. and we had already planned to take some outfit photos for the blog before we do anything else. On Sunday morning however, I woke up to snow and really cold weather. When I say snow, I don’t mean a picturesque image where everything is white; just imagine snowflakes, and REALLY cold weather (especially if you consider that a few days ago, it felt like spring). Since we already had planned it, we layered up and went out for photos anyway. Even though I was super cold and I couldn’t take my coat off to show you my dress properly, I really enjoyed our little photo shoot. T. was making me laugh so much that I almost forgot how cold it was. His idea was to call this post “the last one before T. broke up with me”, because I made him take photos while it was snowing, and he also suggested I write, that I wasn’t wearing any lipstick, and that my lips were purple because of the cold. hehehe I can happily report back to you, that he didn’t actually break up with me (phew! Thanks babe) and that we spent the next days together, cozying up in warm clothes, and blankets, while watching movies, and stuffing ourselves with delicious, yet fattening food. Thank you so much for reading this huge post. I hope you enjoy the photos! 😉

The scarf | Outfits

The scarf - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comI had a coffee date with Kleoniki of Notebook of Claire and Maria of Style Bows on Saturday, and as you can see the weather was back to chilly, after the few nice days we had. The weather forecast called for rain, wind, and snow in the following days. And this time it was quite accurate, because yesterday it snowed all day, and it was super cold (but more about this on my next outfit post, because yes folks, we went out for outfit photos that day! hehe). To protect myself from the cold, and the wind, I layered up and wore my chunky scarf, which I matched with my snakeskin pumps. Do you like the result?

Super Casual | Outfits

Super casual - outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comJust a super quick and super casual look for today dear readers! My casual outfits are a bit of a (boring) uniform in my mind. I try to make them more interesting with accessories, but they’re (usually) still uninteresting for me. Well, those are parts of our lives too, so here’s what I wore a couple of days ago to go to a doctor’s appointment downtown. We shot these photos in a hurry, just before the sundown, so I’m sorry that they’re not the best. Hope you like it anyway! Kisses!

In-vested | Outfits

In-vested 3- outfit - DoYouSpeakGossip.comHappy Monday everybody! How was your weekend? Mine was fantastic! I had an amazing Saturday, when I met with my blogger friends for photos and coffee, and then went out for dinner with T. It’s so lovely when we manage to be all 5 together in these gatherings and do some catch up. For that day, I chose a casual (enough) look, inspired by my new jeans, and an old but favorite pair of boots. It’s been a while since I last wore one of my vests, and I’m really pleased with the result. Casual but still polished. What do you think?
