Lately, my choice in outfits goes somewhat like this: I open my closet, find the pair of shoes I haven’t worn in “ages”, then pick the clothes that can go with it (double score if it’s an item I haven’t worn for a long time!), and accessorize it. Ready! Maxi dresses that touch the ground can be tricky. I always wear mine with high heels, because I really don’t want my dress to get dirty, and then I usually lift it up with my hands a little bit when climbing stairs, to be sure not to step on it and fell flat on my face. Maxi dresses are perfect for the transitional season; because they keep you warm enough, and can easily be layered with a pashmina or a jacket/blazer. It was too hot for that though, so I just wore mine with a favorite pair of heels and my mint/floral clutch bag. Doesn’t it look great? I’ll be waiting for your comments! 🙂

Office chic in culottes | Outfits
Well, hello there! How are you my loves? I’m going to show you an outfit I had in mind for a long time now, actually since I got this pair of culottes, so I’m glad that I was finally able to photograph it. These pants definitely don’t photograph well, unless you’re into weird and unnatural poses (I played a lot during this shoot, so let me know if you want to see me being all goofy, so I upload proof on Facebook – hehe). The light also didn’t help, so we had lots of unsuitable photos, but that’s all right. At least I managed to find a few I liked. This look can be worn to go to the office (it will look as perfect with lower heeled shoes), or to a wedding/christening, with a smaller bag. I, being me, decided to wear it late in the morning to go for coffee in my town. No biggie! My friends and boyfriend are used to me always being overdressed. I do have my casual moments though, as you know. Anyway, enough written! Let me know if you liked this look, by leaving a comment in the form below.

Modern pin-up | Outfits
I’ve had this outfit in mind, since before I placed my order to get this beautiful cropped knotted shirt, and I couldn’t wait to wear it and share it with you before we officially enter fall. This is how I imagined wearing this beautiful shirt, when I was ordering it. Yes it’s one of the items of last month’s Spartoo order. Isn’t it pretty? I really wanted to try something different, so I paired it with a midi skirt, my all-star sneakers, my white backpack, and one of my mom’s scarves as a headpiece, to give a hint of color, and make the look more retro. I quite liked the result. It’s actually one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn lately. For the photos I wanted my background to make a contrast with the look, so I picked a place with lots of green but also lots of road signs to add even more color. Do you like my look? Loosen up | Outfits
I’m sure you remember this dress from this post last month, when I wore it for the first time. Back then I wore it more casually, with a thin belt and a pair of sneakers. This time, I wanted to make it look more elegant, so I decided to leave the belt and wear it with a pair of heels and my matching bag, keeping the rest of the outfit minimal. I loved both ways, but I’d love to know which way was your favorite so far. It was a super-hot day and letting my hair down wasn’t a very wise decision but lately all I did was keeping them up, so I wanted a change from that. Rumour has it that the weather is going to get cooler soon. I still have lots of summer outfits in mind though, so let’s see. Leave a comment below to let me know what you think.

Pastel & plaid | Outfits
We took these photos last week, when we went out for a walk downtown with T. to enjoy the city and watch the full moon. We had a great time, and I was happy we were finally able to shoot these photos there. I’ve been eyeing this bridge for years, but hadn’t had the chance till now. I took the opportunity to wear my new Lee dress which I got from spartoo, and I matched it with pink accessories and my white belt. The upper part needs to be taken in a little bit, so I’m soon going to pay my seamstress a visit with some clothes, but other than that it’s perfect. The outfit was complete with my new My piece of chic necklace, and my vintage sunglasses. Do you like my look?
